Should you eat BREAKFAST? If so, what is the right time to eat? How much should you eat? Discussing the recommendation based on the circadian rhythm of hormones.

It is always better to skip dinner than skipping breakfast.

In our PG (paying guest) system, we get breakfast at 7:30 am and get dinner at 7:30 pm. It's really very synchronized for planning 12 hours fasting!
  • 1) eat breakfast- not heavy ( also don't skip it ) 2) can have heavy lunch 3) very light dinner as early as possible ( skipping is the ideal case scenario )
  • I lost 8 kgs with in 38 days now 87kgs.. within these days I followed intermittent fasting with Low carb diet 16:8 also no rice, had salads mostly for lunch and idly at 7 pm and no snacking in between. Also weight training in the morning for 5 time a week. This is all started because of a day realisation I had when went to family outing. I was unable to play not even for 30min as I felt back pain eventhougt I am 25 yrs old. That hit me hard and during this 38 days I am more active and could feel having more energy, even with less consumption.

  • Great concept clearly defined in layman's language. Identifying doctors who can explain about our body is a great gift. Thank you doctor. It's very much helpful to watch your videos and get awareness on the food we should eat and not to eat. My mother 70+ who cannot be corrected even by God is very much listening to your videos and correcting her eating pattern and suggesting us as well. God bless you doc🙏

  • I wake up about 7.30 am. Go out for a morning walk for 1 hour. Rest for another hour before I take my breakfast. That will be around 9.30 am. Before that I take a glass of water. My lunch at 2.pm. In between I drink a lot of water. Take my dinner at 7pm. Then kitchen is close. I have been following your intermittent fast time and I find it super good. Will be seeing you soon in Malaysia. Tq Dr Pal.

  • Greetings from Malaysia Dr. Pal. Found your humor injected hard truths about the ways we abuse our body through food very enlightening. I totally agree with your time restricted feeding idea. I follow a 16:8 eating window and try to have my last meal of the day by 5pm on most days. After hearing your detailed explanation, will definitely avoid taking diversions and stick to my restricted feeding time. Tq for inspiring others Dr. Pal . 👍🙏

Really This is wonderful I am following it ( skipping of night food) It had done miracles in my body and mental health. We should stop eating or drinking before 5 to 6 pm and we should sleep earlier it should not cross 9 to 10 pm If necessary we can drin little water. It helps me in waking up earlier by 4.30 to 5 am and no constipation issues after that. In addition I do morning exercise and walking to . Having all type of brown and red rice (high fiber ) in a soup format in an optimum quantity even pushes lunch time up to 2. 30 noon.
