Three tips. 1. When you make your fruit "preserve" do not use any sweetener at all. Instead, add chia seeds to the berries, 1 tablespoon for 1 lb of berries will do. Also, a bit of ground nuts - walnuts, almonds or hazel - just 1 tbsp will add nice creamy nutty flavor, and chia seeds will thicken it. 2. If you use yogurt, sour cream, farmer/cottage/ricotta cheese in your pancake batter, it makes sense to use baking soda, not baking powder. Soda is more active in the presence of sour dairy products and it makes the pancakes fluffier and softer. 3. I normally use a mix of ground oats and oat bran - love the texture!

I tried this immediately. I didn't have the yogurt or strawberries on hand, so I just made oats instead w coconut milk and added in the grated apples and other stuff.....so good....am really impressed! Now i have a great apple oats recipe as well!
  • She's so calming and soothing to watch, no yelling or sharp tones, explains it like as if she were a mother teaching their child to make them...Love it!

This is absolutely BRILLIANT!😅 It satisfies the craving for those pastry lovers without giving in to breads!

This recipe is perfect! I used the zero sugar chobani and used blueberries instead of apples. Incredible 😊

I made this tonight, was very good! I used froze apple chunks from our trees, put them through a manual food processor, ground my own flour. Thank you!
  • These look delicious! You could add a sprinkle of cinnamon to create an apple pie or crisp flavor effect. I may not wait until tomorrow morning to make these.🍎
  • I've made these twice now using the grated apple both times. It's a very good recipe and the lemon zest really makes it shine. Thanks.

My Polish grandma used to make these for me and they’re now a staple in my own house. Anxious to try your version. Thx for the memories! 😋

I love this recipe concept! I do not eat sugar at all (except in small amounts of fruit) and no fake sugars either, although the monkfruit and berry sauce sounds great. So I will try the recipe with whole fat plain greek yogurt (more protein) and no added sugar. BTW, it is better to leave the yolk in because the yolk has more protein by weight.
  • I made this recipe but some changes I used white eggs sugarless Greek yogurt and they came out soooo delicious and I made blueberry instead of strawberry it's delicious 😋 and Im gonna make today again. Thank you for your recipe it's delicious and don't even mention it the music beautiful 🥰🥰
  • I made these and they turned out AMAZING! The strawberry sauce was so gooood! I think I went a little too crazy on the lemon zest but I’ll definitely be doing this again. Honey also goes great with these pancakes ❤
  • I tried these today. Soo good, thank you so much! To save some time, I processed the apples at low speed, till I got small pieces, not a puree. It worked perfectly. I used non fat plain greek yogurt and added extra vanilla. Will be making these often, for sure. Thank you!!
  • I did this. The pancakes turned out so good. Only thing is I used greek yoghurt instead of normal yoghurt so the cakes were a tad more sour but nevertheless, they were fluffy and yummy!
  • I made these pancakes using coconut flour and milk because that's what I had on hand. They turned out delicious!! Thank you for the recipe!!
  • I made a half recipe using the sliced apple version and used non fat plain yogurt. The lemon rind was brilliant to enhance the apple flavor. Very good and would make again.

I just made them and they're really yummy! Don't worry, the apples naturally sweeten the pancakes so you really don't need to add anything. The natural flavours come out. Unfortunately I didn't have any vanilla essence so I know that it will enhance it next time. They are delicious so I will be making them again. ❤ Thank you for sharing! 🙏🙏
