    I like how much snow was blown out by the fins on the flywheel, kinda proving it to be a true "cold start".

    I'm not a Kohler fan either but have heard the command is decent.

    i have a mower just like that and i love that engine. every now and then when go to start it the starter will make a nose and it wont torn over but after a little pit of turning on and off the key i will start to crank and then start but that is the only problem i have with it

    Some of these engines were offered with a CDI style ignition, they had a lot of problems.

    Hopefully you're using multigrade oil and not straight 30w.
