Love that you mention the Yakuza series here, but you left out that it also contains one of the greatest examples of actually very blatant advertising in games: In the series spinoff Judgment, there's an entire sidequest chain that is straight-up just an ad for the Japanese steakhouse chain Ikinari Steak, where you meet and befriend the actual then-company president as an in-game NPC-- and I'm not gonna lie, it's so blatant that it comes back around to being actually kind of brilliant. I unironically adore that substory.

I hope NakedJaked charges extra for his advertising space because this is one of the only times I've ever not just skipped over the in-video ad because it's just as entertaining as the rest of the video.

Jakey is like one of those friends you haven't seen in a long time, but when you guys get back together it's just as fun as it used to be.
