Love that you mention the Yakuza series here, but you left out that it also contains one of the greatest examples of actually very blatant advertising in games: In the series spinoff Judgment, there's an entire sidequest chain that is straight-up just an ad for the Japanese steakhouse chain Ikinari Steak, where you meet and befriend the actual then-company president as an in-game NPC-- and I'm not gonna lie, it's so blatant that it comes back around to being actually kind of brilliant. I unironically adore that substory.

Missed opportunity to put a Hooked on Phonics logo on the ball

Its that time of year to watch a grown ass man sit on a medicine ball and tell you in depth about some shit you really dont care about but for some reason are still very entertained. We missed ya Jakey.

I hope NakedJaked charges extra for his advertising space because this is one of the only times I've ever not just skipped over the in-video ad because it's just as entertaining as the rest of the video.

The irony is that the ad in this video is the only one I haven't skipped in about 5 years.

Jakey talking about ads in games then hits us over the head with an opera GX ad is very immersive

When you watch the whole ad because you’ve missed Jakey so much, but it’s actually funny as heck.

I've always found real products being in video games to be disconcerting yet funny and familiar. Like, on one hand, THE AUDACITY!! On the other hand, it adds a surreal immersion.

I love how you can tell which show Jakey is watching from the vibes of the video alone. He didn't even have to show that screen shot of Chuck, he had me at, "chicanery".

The worst part about the Alan Wake TV ads is that the darkness literally stops chasing it’s primary target so you can watch them

As someone named Brian, I would like to formally apologize to both the viewers and to Mr. Naked Jacob for my behavior during this video. Driving while texting was negligent and I now see how I put not only myself and Mr. Jacob in danger but also all the others around us. As for my actions during Track and Field Day, my lawyers at Jakey, Jakey, & Jakey, Attorneys at Law have advised me not to go into too much detail. However, I will apologize to those I have wronged with my actions on that day. Lastly, I would like to reiterate that I stand with Mr. Jacob’s decision to buy a jet ski despite it being impractical for him to own one in his current place of residence. I love how he added ads to the video it really adds to the immersion of this video.
