Real High Conductor Hunt with the Minelab Manticore, Deus II, and Equinox 900

Please note: THIS IS NOT A COMPETION VIDEO. Many of you prefer seeing the Manticore in action so I took the Minelab Manticore, XP Deus 2, and the Equinox 900 to a local permission that has a lot of high conductors. I used each machine to find around 2 targets each to compare how each machine will see the other machines targets with target ID numbers, sounds, etc. THIS IS NOT A COMPETION VIDEO. All of these machines could see ALL of THE TARGETs regardless of the machine used. I did not try to out do the other. I set up each machine for searching high conductors. The Manticore has an All Terrain High Conductor search mode. The Deus 2 has a Deep High Conductor mode (I altered it to look for coins), and the Nox 900 was in Park 1 with my coin settings that converted from the Equinxo 800. These are real targets in the ground not planted. Thanks for watching!

Hey guys thanks for watching and If could get you to give this video a thumbs up I would appreciate it. The goal is 200 likes. Thank you!

This comparison vid was exactly the real life field testing that I wanted to see. Digging the nail was very reassuring that no matter which machine you are using there is always the possibility it is trash.
  • @mrwheatie
Thanks for the comparison of real unknown targets. This takes time and I for one appreciate it. My choice was the 900 (just got it) and it performed just fine.

Took my Manticore out for the 1st time on Saturday and ran the high conductor program in a park I’ve hammered and did very well !! That machine handles EMI like a champ !!
  • @justins3810
Awesome video man! Its nice to see the comparisons.
  • Like the Live dig Comparison that is pretty cool .. Thanks for your time to do this. All 3 detectors are pretty good detectors from what I am seeing and hearing.. Peace ..
  • Love the deep high conductor program on my deus II on older sites, thanks for the video.
  • Nice comparison, thanks for taking the time to test them all against each other 😀😀😀
  • @TheJonesy555
Useful and interesting video. Thanks for your efforts. I recognised the screw top instantly on that deus2 sound/id no. 😁
  • It is worth noting that the bouncing VDI numbers on the manticore and equinox are themselves an indicator of a trash item. Im not saying don’t dig but I was calling trash as soon as I saw the bouncing VDI and heard impure tones. When I was young I dug everything! Now my back is killing me to the point that I can only dig sure things. I might risk it if it’s deep and possibly silver (80’s + VDI) or if the area has produced old or valuable targets already. Great video!!!!
  • @sandman4224
Thanks for taking the time to compare. Interesting responses. That pinpointer of yours sounds too much like a dentist's drill - reminds me of my last filling :)
  • @diggindarrell
I just got the call that my Manticore is here and will be shipped to my home by Friday. 😊

Hey about Shovels, Spades and Trowels. A shovel has a wide blade with turned up sides for shovelling coal, gravel, grain, snow etc. A Spade is what you use for digging holes. A trowel is a small Spade but also is curved to dig and shovel on a small scale. Nice to see target comparisons. 👍
