In this video I am going to show two recipes. One is a raw banana or plantain sabzi and a dal that is made with just three spices. Raw cooking bananas are low GI food and are a great source of fibre and other minerals and very beneficial for those who would like to control blood sugar.

    Hi Srikant, I made this dish today and it was out of this world. Thank you. Quick question: any tips on how to uniformly apply salt, turmeric and red chilli powder? Do the plaintain slices absorb salt if it is put in the lemon water used while slicing? Not that it was a problem, still amazing dish.

    That is a plantain please use the correct name of the ingredient, as green bananas are also cooked in other dishes.
