This video gives you a look at the popular Solo Studios and the Studio Lounge on Norwegian Prima. These are great cabins for solo cruisers. They are 94 square feet and feature a studio lounge community space for solo cruisers to meet each other and hang out.
I stayed in Studio 13539.

Perfect little cabin for a solo cruiser. It's nice that they have an option to meet with other solo cruisers if you choose to.

I like that no one can get in except for other studio passengers

This is sufficient for one person, or at least for me. Thanks for showing it.

It's amazing how these ship builders utilize every square inch of space.

The exclusive lounge looks so nice! Yes, the rooms are small but they're certainly cozy and nicely designed. I'll bet the sleep quality is excellent.
  • The coffee being that close is worth the price alone. Had to walk a mile on the Mardi Gras from Deck 10 Forward to get some coffee!

As a single woman I love to travel and many times I do it alone and this is a great alternative. Years ago I paid double occupancy for a cabin. This is the way to go now for me. I’ve seen other videos about the “studios” but yours it the most detailed and inspiring. You pointed out things others hadn’t noticed. Thanks for a great video. Happy travels!

Love the new design, it's unfortunate NCL did't put a small fridge in the room. It's the only thing they managed to leave out again!

Small but perfectly formed I’d say! Very stylish decor but I’d feel claustrophobic without access to either a window or a balcony. Lounge area is a good idea too. Again, very modern and stylish. 👍

Many people seem to think one needs an apartment on a cruise ship to be comfortable. How much time do they plan to stay in this one spot? There is more than enough room here even if a couple were able to book it. I think it's a fabulous space!! Thanks!!

6ft4 190lbs…my biggest takeaway- great video

I just got home 2 days ago from my 7 Day cruise on the Prima and stayed in Studio cabin 13527. I loved it! It was perfect for me (6'2" 235lbs) and I had no issues. The shower and bathroom surprised me with how roomy they are. My last cruise on the Pride of America was a Balcony cabin and the bathroom was nearly unusable. The studio on the Prima...excellant!
  • I've got two solo cruises this year. A 7 day Alaska in less than two weeks, and a 21 day Canal, in October. In 2024, NCL charges $35 a bag for laundry, so I'll be doing some sink washing on the three week cruise. Alaska on the Bliss, and Panama on the Encore.
  • Thank you Thank you Thank you. im booked on February 2024 cruise have been a little concerned but after watching this video im at ease and super excited about going

This room is more stylish than the ones on the Epic I've stayed 6 times in one. I loved the lounge for coffee and snacks.

plenty enough comfort, space, privacy for exploring the world. i would love to travel the world (on super easy mode) on this small room and unlimited buffet food everyday!
  • Thanks for posting. I booked my first solo studio for this November.

I booked a studio on Epic last year. Then NCL offered me an upgrade to an unknown cabin, which ended up in the aft cabins. What an awesome trade, loved waking up with Mount Vesuvius in my view. I would recommend trying to upgrade if you are booking a studio. Just make an offer and they will most likely give you a better cabin.
