So sad the lead developer didn’t get a chance to see it go to full release before the passed RIP bro, you gave the world a good thing
  • @evantimo3321
as a steamdeck user, i appreciate that you always include steamdeck playability on your review👍👍👍
  • @Klaytonics
This review is the exact reason why I am subbed to your channel. You discussed a variety of things that haven’t really been covered by other reviewers. Great job on the review!
  • I love jrpgs. They’re not my all time favorite genre of game but I play a fair amount, especially turn based ones. All that to say,it is so refreshing to hear a non-jrpg YouTube channel speak on one of these games without extreme bias. I appreciate you making this video!
  • You're an absolute machine, i haven't even started the game yet haha
  • @nocturne6362
True gamer review laser focused zero drama, thank you Mortismal

My love for the suikoden series started with the first one in -97 and this one does not dissapoint! 35h’s in and i am having a 💥! The humor is lovely and i always take the japanese voiceacting in games and it is awesome the voices truly enhance the characters🙂 Good show sir as always

So soon after your first impressions video! I’m constantly impressed by your efficiency with these games, well done! Hope you enjoyed some of your time with this one :)

The best moment is when random character talk to Nowa on the night before the last campaign. I save and load to get every dialogue. Also I really in love with the game's pixel art. Btw the video is the real gamer review.

This games art style got me to actually record a short vid about it. Your thorough dives are always great man
  • This is the most even-handed review of Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes. Anyone considering purchasing the game should watch this.
  • @GuBoaretto
you are a machine man, congrats on the channel!

Thanks for the review as always! I really like the fact that the normal battles are fast and you can just put it on auto while the boss battles are fun and challenging enough (at least on hard). Don't get me wrong, I love a complicated combat system with many layers just like anybody else. But most of the time they tend to overstay their welcome, especially in normal battles as you will be doing tons of them. Being able to do mindless grinding preparing for a boss while doing something else like catching up with your favorite shows or a podcast is something I really miss and this game provides just that. A very cozy and comforting game. While the game has certains problems, I think it has lots of potential to explore with its sequel (especially now that the devs have confirmed they are working on it).

Excelent review as always. I'm currently playing it and really loving the game. One thing that I think they nailed is the VA across the board. Considering the sheer number of characters, they did a great job conveying each character personality through the voice acting.
  • @kokosan09
thank you for the detailed review, now I'm really looking forward to playing this after I finish up Dragon's Dogma 2!
  • @TheStowAway594
Really appreciate the PC key rebinding info, it makes a huge difference to the left handed, handicapped, and weirdos like me.
  • @DangerSimmons
You always break everything down so well. Thank you for your constant hard work. I hope unicorn overlord comes to pc as I'd love to see your take on it. I personally thought it handled a large cast well vs how things seem to be framed here.
  • @marklion250
Thank you very much for covering this game on your channel! In-depth and on point as usual. It is very special to me since I'm a big Suikoden fan. It may not be perfect, but it's the Suikoden that was promised. It's also a tribute to classic old school JRPGs and Murayama Yoshitaka. I hope that Rabbit and Bear can carry on, because we need this kind of games

Always top tier content on this channel, thanks 👌🏾
