Endless Space is a great 4X game. X4 is a great Endless Space game.

Playing X4 is like dating an exotic dancer. It looks great and can be a lot of fun, but also takes a lot of patience since it's often frustrating and sometimes even downright abusive.
  • Duskers! Duskers is also included in the Endless Fest! I will keep repeating it until you mention it! It's well worth it!

For anyone else looking for a great FTL like rogue space game, if you haven't heard of it. Shortest Trip to Earth is exceptionally well done.
  • Delta-V: Rings of Saturn is one of the best games I´ve ever played. There´s another one that many people don´t know about and that is Scavenger SV-4. It is some kind of a spiritual successor of the game Koronis Rift on the 8bit machines of the eighties. As with Delta V it´s one of the best I´ve ever played and I´ve logged hundreds of hours in it. And even with all those hours I haven´t seen everything thing in it. EDIT: Genesis: Alpha One is another fave of mine.

Bought X4 as it was top of my wishlist and was waiting for a discount. Absolutely love just flying about taking on missions and relaxing.
  • Rings of Saturn is a really well done title. Even if repetitive, it's always challenging.

I just bought X4 on special, looking forward to trying it out.

Evochron legacy is not in your list...but it´s the best

I always love following your content. Always great to listen to a fellow space games fan :)

Banished Vault looks amazing and somehow never heard of it. Many 1000s of hours in X4 (and X3 (and X2)) I do recommend them if you like that sort of thing.

Thank you for showing me the game called Exo One. It was on discount with a few hours remaining. I literaly got out of bed to buy the game lol
  • just picked up deltaV rings of saturn. Even though it didn't seem like my kind of game, after a few dives into the rings i got hooked. it's the first game in years which made me forget to check the time and after multiple "one mire dive, i want to see this new equipment in action" and then waking up to reality at 3AM highly underrated game

Genesis Alpha One is an amazing game! I highly recommend it! It has a small rough-light leveling system that has you unlocking starting bonus items for your next run.
  • Thanks for highlighting these, @OA - some food for thought! That Exo One looks like a neat concept. Not sure it's quite in my bailiwick, but what you've shown of Genesis Alpha One is interesting. I like the moody visual style of The Banished Vault. Sounds like a very complicated board game, though!
  • @Benjamin.Jamin.
I would love to see a list of lesser known space MMOs. I have been playing Vendetta Online, casually, for over a decade, and would like to know what else is out there in a similar vein (reasonably accessible), but perhaps a bit 'bigger'.

Thumb up for noticing the Rings Of Saturn.
