*Important Notes* Just going to get the answer to these questions out of the way here since it will probably be asked otherwise: Q. What about Leene? A. Leene was not one of my most used characters because quite frankly, she's pretty mid. Her dexterity, speed, and luck are all incredibly high, and her unique skill Full Force Clacker can deal a lot of damage if she's built for it, but there are caveats. Starting with her Full Force Clacker, while this can do significant damage to all enemies allowing you to clear random encounters before enemies can attack you, by the time you actually recruit Leene you can easily do this already, making this skill more of a 'win more' option that costs you a party slot. Next, outside of her dexterity, speed and luck, her stats are either average or cripplingly bad -- in the case of power and magic, these have even scaling so you can tailor her to be the type of damage dealer you want, but this comes at the cost of their base values being average, meaning you need to invest a lot of her rune slots into increasing their values in order to see the results you want. Even if she does crit almost all of the time, she still needs decent offensive stats to make those crits worthwhile. But the biggest issue with Leene is her abysmal defensive stats -- even at level 99 her base defense and magic defense are lower than characters 50+ levels lower than her, making her a major liability in any fight that isn't a random encounter. Essentially she is a glass cannon that doesn't contribute anything new to the party. So yeah, Leene is mid. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Q. What about Rune of the Mage's Path on Momo? A. You're welcome to use it but I think it's a massive troll of a rune in which the 50% damage increase isn't worth the drop in defensive stats, especially with no damage check in the game. Giving him a Rune of HP+ or an accessory that increases HP doesn't make up the effective HP loss from Mage's Path, and in the event that the enemy gets a turn, Momo will get wrecked it attack. Personally, I consider it unplayable from an optimization standpoint which is what I focus on -- it's fine if all you care about is screenshot damage though.

Nice list! Don't sleep on the Rune of Stone and Radiance! They have buffs that don't rely on magic stat! They have buffs like DEF up all, immune to 1 hit to all, full heal/revive and ATK up + regen to all! Even the 2nd tier wind rune is cool with the action speed up to all buff!

Can you please make a video about Perry? I’d love to use her more but her stats seem so bad. I’ve only basically found use for her when it comes to breaking armor. Her attack demolishes it in like one turn.

Nowa and Garr can do some decent damage when on the front line with the warriors pinnacle rune equipped. Usually 6-800 on basic attacks and 1k+ with skill runes.

Francesca really scales up her HP very late.. She’ll have 400+ HP by level 99, which with the build you have for her, she’ll be on the tanky side.. too bad she scales so late, but I guess it’s fine since her hero combo with Falward would make the game very easy at the start..

Dij, Wayve, Yuferious, Isha Leene and Momo Team is bonkers.
  • @jet9078
After watching this. I'm gonna start building Reyna and Isha. Since I haven't get Momo yet.
  • @Elitetvgamer
Where can you see the negative affinity for elemental runes for each character?
  • @eurynomos84
I ended out using Chandra and Wayve up front. Isha, Hakugin, and Dijkstra in the back. Chandra is naturally tanky, so you can focus on boosting power and crit. Doesn't take much to make Wayve tanky and he has a bunch of rune slots and row hitting unique rune for 2 SP. My Isha didn't differ much, except she was more offensive focus, because Wayve was doing my healing. Hakugin never felt my party once I got her. I'm a big fan of row hitting unique runes with 2 SP cost. Dijkstra literally just yelled every turn to boost party for ridiculous dmg numbers.
  • @maximillian0203
You mention that Reyna have pretty bad dark rune affinity, where do you check that stat?
  • I usually use Wayve, Djikstra, Iugo, Isha, Nowa, and Momo. Wayve (Rune SP+) & Iugo are using Warrior's Pinnacle, and Isha & Momo are using Mage's Pinnacle. While Djikstra were only increased atk for a turn, since Wayve can use rune-lense for every turn. For Nowa usually used him for Items, and Isha for rune-lense heal. Still considering using another as backup (CJ or someone else) for Nowa since I want to put Nowa as attendant. Not interested using Hero Combos since total dmg isn't that much compared to single atk.
  • Do you know how much armor by rank decreases damage? Was going to put mysical bangle on Nowa since all my other guys have S shields but I haven't really seen anything in reduced damage. Debating the bangle vs mark of hero.

Chandra is a worthwhile mention. I dont like using up 2 character slots on 1 character but she feels worth it. Particularly in the 40-90 portion of the game. She is fast and can hit hard. Her skill slot is a 3 which lets her use reckless slash to reduce enemy phys defense for 3 turns. Her unique rune is a solid attack on all enemies. Lastly she tanks in an interesting way. By taking up 2 slots she seems to be the target of attacks twice as often. Combine that with solid phys and magic defense and a firefly rune for a solid offensive and defensive powerhouse.
  • @bxaire
Wait, where can you see the affinity that they have for each type of magic?
  • @kayne8222
Havent heard anyone else mention Isha before, she is dope and ive been using her and dont know why i havent seen her talked about before
