I was truly looking forward to hearing this. I saw Dolly's interview where she said that she would love for Beyonce to cover "Jolene". She wondered what Beyonce could do with it and anticipated another performance comparable to what Whitney did with "I Will Always Love You". Is there anyone who thinks that Beyonce can copy Whitney's success? For me, I dont think this version is going to cut it...not like Whitney! I prefer Miley's version and the performance she did in a backyard, no studio, no autotune...just Miley and her ability to be raw and real.
