As someone whose roots are deeply in Southern rural black culture, it’s nice to see that given some appreciation. My family has been farming for generations. They own horses and cattle, participate in trail rides, rodeos. My family hunts, fishes and so on. It seems like only the only black people are ones who live inner cities and suburbs. Sometimes rich ones.. Rarely do I see black country folk. We are not monolithic.

For the video I would’ve had some country line dancing show some black cowboys and cowgirls roping, riding horses, bull riding (because there are many of them here) girls on the mechanical bull and showing parts of Texas their ranches cities rivers beaches some Beyoncé. And more of the people of Texas every race and creed. Now that would’ve been an awesome video.
