I‘m not even from Texas, hell I‘m not even from America and Beyoncé makes me being proud of Texas

act i - house, disco, ballroom act ii - country, bluegrass, folk. act iii - rock, blues, jazz. thank you for reclaiming historically black art forms, beyoncé. thank you for always paying homage to the past, crediting and paying people, and pushing the culture forward 🥺 those of us who get it, will ensure that your sacrifices will never be in vain. we love and appreciate you so much. ❤️

patiently waits for the line dancing choreo

Texas girl here, saw Beyoncé with Destiny’s child at the rodeo when Destiny’s Child was performing years and years ago…She is also a Texas girl from Houston. Loved her then, love her now.
  • I love this song! Beyonce can make it as a country artist. Darius Rucker went from alternative rock to country and was hugely successful. Beyonce sounds (and is) a country singer! She surprised everyone with this genre switch and she absolutely nailed it! We’re rooting for you, Bey! 💕

Beyonce releasing a country song wasn't on my 2024 Bingo card

Okay but I want an actual music video with a whole line dance with Dolly Parton

I’m not a fan of Beyonce, but I loved this song! Great song! It’s great to see artists come out of their comfort zone, and try different genres.

Ray Charles said he was going to do a country album and they called him crazy. Told him it was a big mistake... It was his biggest work to date, giving us "Georgia on my mind" 🥰 CONTINUE MAKING HISTORY BEY 🤠❤️

At the Grammys she told all of us that this was coming. That cowboy getup she was rocking had a purpose.

I may be white but my parents were split since I was one years old, I used to feel like an out cast everywhere because my dad lived in the ghetto my mom lived in the country and I never fit in cause I had and still have a little bit of both in me and you can tell by the way I carry myself and I love ALL music and Beyonce is crossing a line that I have hoped and prayed would be crossed for YEARS NOW! Thank you queen b I needed this. Your making my "weirdness" normal. 🙏 I feel this in my soul

In an interview in 2022 Dolly Parton says she wanted Beyonce to do a cover of Jolene. That needs to happen, and Dolly and Beyonce need to do a duet of something...... ANYTHING.

What if people sang all types of genres of music, and spread joy while doing it? Black beauties singing country, white fellas singing rap, latinos playing the blues, Asian folks playing blue grass....think of the possibilities. That sounds like a country I'd like to be part of. Wait....it is OUR country. Be proud of it, we are lucky to be here. Share the art, share the love, spread peace.

The first black country singer was Linda Martell. She actually sang at the Grand O Opray twelve times.
