-
The “Todd” in my school became a cop who was fired for using the police database for stalking a woman, ah sweet memories
-
It's funny because one of my classmates was in jail for smuggling gas from Venezuela to Colombia, this video feels so personal to me.
-
when i graduated all of my classmates were crying and i just stood there feeling so fucking happy that it was finally over. it's not like i didn't have any friends or didn't enjoy my classes, i just fucking hated being trapped in there with a bunch of people who didn't understand me at all with a schedule that fucked me up

High School is where you force as much concentrated cringe out of your personality as possible until you're too old and the cringe baseline has been set.
-
As someone who's close to 40, this 25 year old on an exercise ball has got it absolutely correct.
-
the only reason teenagers think highschool is this cool place where everything matters is because adults in their midlife crisis keep making romanticized movie versions of it
-
Some ppl don't realize that when someone say that they'll miss high school, they don't mean that you'll miss GOING to high school and taking classes, but rather that period of your life that you didn't had bills to pay, work to go, and everything in between, all you had to do was go to school and make minimum effort to get a decent grade and that's it, that was all responsibility you had.
-
i was so miserable all throughout high school, i couldn't bring myself to engage w my peers and it sucked. i wish i could've experienced the typical teenager stuff like having a big group of friends and goin to parties. its what i always dreamed when i was goin thru my shitty childhood and it hurts knowing that life didnt actually get any better when i got older like i thought it would as a kid

High school: if you study now you can enjoy later College: if you study now you can enjoy later Job: if you work now you can enjoy later

Real scary feeling when Jakey literally calls out your hometown of Watertown, South Dakota.
-
High school is like a super long prologue in a jrpg. You HAVE to do it, but once it's over the hometown is gonna burn to the ground, monsters are gonna return to the overworld, and you're gonna have to go on an adventure to defeat the demonlord. But that shits just sprung on you. At no point in your life does anyone give you the proper training or education to defeat the demon lord. They just assume you'll figure it out on your own when you have to. I'm not sure this metaphor works

Now that I’m in college, I realize that high school is a scam and that no one cares how many AP credits you got or how fast you’re growing through life. Everyone goes at their own pace.
-
I feel like jakey made this after he looked at his analytics and realized that like 90% of his fanbase is still in high school
-
Don’t be like that kid in high school with a speaker in his backpack blasting music in the hall. Buy raycon

I disagree a little bit on the "your classes don't matter" argument because a huge part of the value of science, math, history, etc is that they expose you to new concepts and career paths you otherwise might not consider. That said, making 17 year olds decide their career path and then shaming them when they inevitably change their mind a month into college is terrible and also there should absolutely be classes in high school that teach you applicable life skills like taxes.
-
School did not prepare me for college at all, the amount of independent study and the steep rise in difficulty level is ridiculous
-
I guess the real high school was the friends we made along the way
-
Me a horsegirl: I just came here to have a good time and honestly I’m feeling attacked
-
School is where you go so your parents can go to work.
