A friend of mine used to book bands at a club in Quincy, Massachusetts back in 1991,92 and Rick Derringer was one of the acts, another friend and I smoked the funny stuff with Rick and his wife before the show. Too funny

ever since I was a child and heard that song hang on sloopy , I thought the song was called Hang on stupid. Until several yrs. a good friend corrected me. on the tittle of the song.

Wild isn't it - Ringo - the drummer of 65 and Rick the Sloopy man and head of The McCoys - together? Could not ask for better. Hope to meet and talk with Rick someday.
