First saw Rick and The McCoys play this song at the Junior Fair Building in Van Wert, Ohio in late 1965. Rick grew up in Fort Recovery, just 40 miles south of Van Wert.

I remember playing this in the stands when I was in hs band. That was in 1969 to 1971. It would have been great to see Lisa Dalton there dancing. Wonder if she still does this dance.
