I did come out of it thinking Proximus was a very fascinating character in that he was extremely ruthless but never gratuitously so. A servant spills food, a scheme fails, what's the point in kicking a puppy over it? Completely utilitarian in his atrocities, the perfect Machiavelian prince.

Proximus Caesar is absolutely right. You're also 100% right about China too because I am a descendant from one of those small countries that China conquered.

What you saw on the screen didn't really happened on the screen, but inside your own mind which projected on to the screen. That's why it looks so real.

It's 5/10 for me. It could've been 8 if the current apes finds out about their ancestor Ceasar's video in the closed human/military settlement with him growing up raised by his human father and the human civilization back then. Would be interesting how the current apes sees everything from then.

they should have left it to matt reeves because this movie has a lot of uncompleted puzzles and the second movie should either be made in a year or two otherwise it wont get enough love already and i also didnt completely love this movie because they made it sometimes unrealistic for example the quadrupedal movement is amazing but the voices arent edited the way apes would speak and only proximus and raka is realistic even though their are also human voices. in the previous trilogy the voices were edited a bit the way apes would talk by reviewing the ape voice anatomy.
