▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ About j0rts ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Hi there! I'm j0rts, and I like to explore mostly pointless things in video games while playing them in weird, unconventional ways.

Despite my name, this channel has nothing to do with jorts. In fact, I've never even worn a pair of jorts in my life. I just find the word fun to say... j o r t s.

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to check out my channel. If you'd like to hang out with me live, be sure to visit my Twitch channel over at www.twitch.tv/j0rts

This video shows exactly why texting and driving is dangerous, especially behind a teal truck. Be careful out there, gamers.
  • @j0rts
I never want to see a teal truck again

Driving tip 5: Clearly using your eyes to drive is dangerous, so next time I'm driving blindfolded.

1:40 that is in fact, toad’s head. Miyamoto himself said so. People will be like “oh the one episode of the super mario bros super show showed that it’s a hat” but like, bowser’s name was king koopa and he was green. I’m not sure how accurate that show is to the lore.
  • One thing I realized watching this is he has to ignore his instinct to look at hazards, or else he'll go into them lol. He has to gauge his surroundings from peripheral vision
  • So i have two thoughts with this stellar idea to make this better. 1. Make the deadzone smaller or bigger to fine tune control so you can pretty much look away a little to turn. 2. If you allowed one button for drifting i think you could potentially have better reaction time than a normal controller
  • So, like... while its obviously a far from idea setup, a control scheme like this could legitimately allow some people to experience the joy of playing video games even if a physical difficulty would otherwise prevent that. It would be difficult and would likely only work for games with simple controls, but it'd be possible. That's awesome.
  • TRIPLE TRIADS! SHEEESHH that ending was intense gg. also 5:50 had me on the edge of my SEAT!

  • This is why if children talk in the car you're legally allowed to tell them to shut up

A bulky yellow overalled man has been seen disturbing the public peace by causing traffic disturbances. Police advise drivers to make constant eye contact with traffic and stresses not to text and drive.

Originally it was a hat, but in modern Mario lore it's part of his head

I think you not knowing the boundary at which the turning starts contributed to the difficulty. Having a visual cue that tells you how much you need to look to turn would help.
