Super nice to see men and women on the same boulders for once, great climbing from everybody involved

The true skill ceiling of climbing may never be unlocked. Watching some of the best in the world get sat by a hard route is a good reminder of the potential that is still out there! Love it Toby!

This has got to be the best climbing channel right now. Hard climbing, dry commentary, no bullshit, love it

Toby this is so good, such a privilege to peek behind the scenes of a training session with this crew! Would have loved to hear some of the original audio as well to hear more of the vibes and banter, but this is ace as it is!

I love this format! Really cool to see a room full of such different climbers in this way

Fantastic editing. Katsu is a legend. A few years back watching him testing the setting at Ogikubo was mind-blowing. His knowledge of movement possibilities is second to none.

Best climbing video on YT rn

toby's commentary makes these feel like video diaries. a nice change of pace compared to the typical vlogging style and super charming

Subtle sidenote here: I love how all athletes trained - and competed - together. It wasn't split between men and women (although there were more men tbh). I strongly belief that some of the performance gap between men and women in many sports originates from women not training enough with the strongest men or not expecting to perform at a similar level in the first place. Climbing is such a complex sport beyond just raw power, so the often assumed difference might not exist on many boulders anyways. This is what I love about climbing: it has room for different strengths to show and it is a very inclusive community. In my view, especially the chess elite could learn a lot from this...
