When we were starting this day we didn't know it will be our last day day on the trail but it was fairly easy stage and we felt well so we pushed 28 km (half of the trail) in one go. We started late after 10 PM and we knew we that it will be raining in the evening but temptation to do some proper miles was stronger that fear of little shower. And we anted to use our waterproofs we carried all he way! ;-)
This section is as beautiful as previous but different. It's interesting that every on this trail was specific: this one was day of lava deserts, and first forest we saw in Iceland. Not to forget about amazing bridge over glacier river of Fremri-Emstua. Although we did not want to film everything never-ending cycle of wow-moments make us to keep camera in hand almost all the time.
It's the most beautiful trail I walked so far and shame it's so short. Condensation of beauty would suggest to spread this trek over couple days more to enjoy it more. Nevertheless we had the most fantastic time on Laugavegur.

Enjoy the video.

Well, at 6:29 I really thought she was going to take a short bath in there 😱 good she regained balance! PS: Watched all 4 of your videos about this trail, very helpful and nice style! Not too long, not too short. Hoping to go there this summer but who knows what happens next with Covid-19

I better add Iceland to my wish list, now just to ask my wife to let me go. Although Seb my eldest son says he would like to visit Iceland. Amazing trip thanks for sharing. Martin
  • Hey Seb! For some reason I haven't had any notifications that you posted these videos so only just watched them. I'm slightly lost for words - the landscapes, the colours, the skies! Just unbelievable. I'm not sure that I've ever watched a series of videos on YouTube that have made me want to visit a place more. Honestly, they take the breath away! Beautiful choices of music as well. And I'm sure you were not happy at the time, but the way you actually captured the clip on the Duplex giving way live on video 2 was pretty exciting! Honestly Seb, phenomenal vids, absolutely loved them! 👍🏻🙂 All the best, Dan
