Rob Roy Way (Loch Freuchie - Pitlochry)

Last day of magnificent the Rob Roy Way.
This video does not offer many great views although I walked through spectacular area during first half of the day. Second half was walk along the river under the trees and later in the forest. It doesn't make walking less enjoyable, not at all. I was happy to be able to see red squirrels which were too fast for me to film despite many attempts. :)
I also try to summarise the trail and I cannot hide my worm feeling towards it.
The Pitlochry tourist info number mentioned in the video: 01796 472 215. And on this occasion I'd like to than once more for the help and words encouragement form the ladies working in this office.

I hope you enjoyed the video and whole series. Take care and see you on the trail.

Since discovering your channel, have really enjoyed watching your videos. The RRW looked something special, and I like the way you show the trails and talk us through the route, adds to the experience. Well done and look forward to more....!!

First I'd heard of the Rob Roy Way and really enjoyed your play list. Your English is just fine and the views speak for themselves anyway. Thanks for compiling these videos. Really appreciate it!
  • Grat video series and channel. I really appreciate your style and all the information that you're sharing, especially as I plan to do the RRW in May. Cannot wait to see your other adventures but for now will binge watch other playlists of yours. Thank you very much for sharing, and see you on the trails😊🌲🌾

Well done for sharing your experience with us. I'm glad that the weather stayed good for you. I've walked the RRW twice from North to South and enjoyed it greatly. I'd also recommend it for other walkers. Shame about the ticks. I must have been lucky. Only picked up one. Anyway thanks again for your efforts. 😁

Watched this series on RRW and thanks as you have given an excellent view of the route which I hope to walk one day and then on up Glen Tilt. I know none of us likes the road walking but the views look great. Cheers and see you on the trail.
  • Just catching up with your account of the route Seb as tomorrow I’m catching the train to start from Milngavie as part of my journey on the Scottish national trail. So thanks Seb and ATB 👍

Good series, doing this in a couple of weeks time, probably doing a lot of wild camping as a few campsites seem closed to tents just now

Stunning weather and view's on the last day Seb. Looks like I need to add to my to do list. Thanks for sharing. 👣👣👣

Enjoyable and helpful videos. Thinking of doing this, just scared of getting lost and not finding a camp spot before dark
  • @hnahler
Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m planning for middle of October but will have to add another day. There be two hours less daylight each day compared to your September trip. Still, 30km+ each day is pretty tough.

I'm not sure about the maps Seb - where did you order that weather from? It was superb as was the trail apart from the tics maybe. Truly, you've sold me this trail. Next time I'm in Scotland I think maybe it's this one I'm doing. All the best for the week. Mark
