This week, we take a look at a content creator named Dr. Witnesser; who "brings the gospel to gamers". He was banned from Twitch recently for a pretty gnarly reason, so come along as we take a closer look at what exactly happened.

"just because someone doesn't reply with an audible no, that doesn't translate to yes" CONSENT KING HIT THE NAIL ON THE FUCKIN HEAD ONCE AGAIN
  • @Sghgyv
Animals can’t consent. Adults can no matter their gender.

When he compares beastiality to homosexuality, it reminded me of the time my teacher compared peadophilia to homosexuality
  • "Just because someone doesn't reply with an audible 'no' that doesn't translate to 'yes.'" Consent 101, my dudes.

“so we’re really gonna play this game and nobody wants to talk about the bible?” why does he sound so surprised lmfao
  • @quinnzel316
"taking his name in vain" actually refers to people saying shit like "gods going to hate you if you don't go to church" not saying omg 😭😭

my grandfather was homophobic for his whole life, so I was really scared to tell him that I’m a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Eventually I told him, and he asked a bunch of questions. By the end of the conversation, he told me he’d change his viewpoint on the community. Very cool 👍

“I quickly became homophobic. Hating on gay people became part of my lifestyle” -Dr. Witnesser

Imagine telling a CHILD. A LITERAL CHILD that they’re going to hell cause they’re Muslim. Bruh what’s wrong with him.

My favourite part about Christians is the whole "God loves everyone, except about 80% of the world". Like your main dude walked around basically saying everyone is valid and we must accept them and they're human, you need to help the poor, etc. And the only thing you got from that was "we need to scream at everyone all the time

I like how he says "they're run by the LGBTQ community" as if the entire community is running Twitch. If you're gay, you're in charge of Twitch, congrats
  • “God, the original content creator” I’m using that now, thank you for your genius

I’ve literally never understood why other Christians think the whole “you’re going to hell” thing is going to make anyone want to be a Christian. It seems like a deeply ineffective preaching technique.

“Homosexuality used to be against the rules of society” Dude have you ever read anything from Ancient Greece

This is exactly why I left the religion. I grew up in a Christian household, went to church every Sunday and read the Bible before opening gifts on Christmas, and I can not express enough on how much hypocrisy and ignorance was in that religion. I remember being internally homophobic to myself and others because of what people said to me and just how terrible it was. I left the religion at age 15, I’m 20 turning 21 soon and Im never going back. Im especially mad about the whole “scare tactic” that they use to get people into the religion. Im very sorry for those who experienced it. I really am and I’m 100 percent glad I left.

As someone who is asexual and transgender, it is very common to have cherry picked bible verses thrown at me, especially that one about honoring your body. Edit: Obligatory 'I made this comment 8 months ago and did not expect to have anyone read it' edit
