  • As an Australian, I find indian WION has the most incisive, non-partisan abd historically infomative analysis on the planet, about global events. It often makes me uncomfortable, but in an an informed way.
  • Hey this was amazing. And I hated history.. but you made me realize why the past is as much as important as the future.. thank you.
  • @bertchen323

Taiwanese here. This really explained quite well about the China vs. Taiwan conflict. I don’t think many local Taiwanese can explain this as detailed as this video have done since the issue is quite complex. Thank you for all the effort.
  • Thats some hundreds of years history of Taiwan and China in 9mins.. journalism at its finest right there.. well done Ms. Palki

Hi Palki from Mexico. Nice job with that! You summed it all up very well! I also just watched a perspective from an American, who mentioned should war break out between China & Taiwan, the odds are extremely high that India will take advantage of that and cross into Tibet..., there are so many scenarios that could unfold should conflict break out. Hopefully everything stays as is, and the Taiwanese are left alone and continue to live their own lives, as is the status quo ..
  • If only history teachers were this good, the whole world would be made up of people who truly appreciate history. Thank you Palki for the History lesson, I loved and enjoyed it.
  • @brieflyfun
This is the best explanation of complicated history and relation between Taiwan and China on internet. In less than 10 minutes, it is concise and to the points. Respect!👍
  • Thank you Miss Palki for interesting history of Taiwan ❤️🙏🏾

As a Taiwanese, I really appreciate the fact Palki and her team covered for the international audience a comprehensive overview of Taiwan! Just a very tiny thing to point out around 1:20, during the Qing dynasty most of the Chinese migrants were actually Hokkien/Hoklo Chinese from the Southern Fujian province, while Hakka was relatively a smaller group.
  • @McChrister
Thanks for the history lesson Palki👏🏼 Didn’t know Taiwan was once a Dutch colony….You learn something new every day! God Bless you🙏🏼♥️👋🏼🇨🇦
  • @nariabura

Very good, A very clear explanation of cross-strait relations. I was born in Hong Kong, have lived in China for over 10 years, and recently moved to Taiwan. Compared to Chinese media, her narration is even better.
