I think another big reason is that it’s a genuinely good game, and it was actually designed to be fun. So glad to be a part of this community
  • @fearlessgabe1509
The community is what keeps a game alive, and the community is great, excluding some people
  • This game just hits different I’m a teen and still play this. I mean have you ever seen a shooter with around 120 different unique characters? Or spawn immediately into a war zone? There’s just so much to do in this 30gb game. It’s amazing.

Pvz + shooter game = a literal masterpiece with immense replayability.

I honestly hate that Torchwood and Hover Goat were made purchasable, as it completely undermines the value of the Trials of Gnomus. Although it's very difficult, I think that's what makes the Trials enjoyable. Edit: Since the Town Hall events happen less frequently now, I do admit that having the characters be purchasable is a good thing.

This game will always remind me of tf2 first because of the name, the community, the goofy style, the fun time you will have on either games, the lack of updates, and being able to infinitely replay both games I love both of these games but if tf2 ever dies I think that may be the time that gw2 dies or vice versa but when they do die they will always be remembered.

The game is just fun. It doesn’t have a predatory progression system, it doesn’t have a forced in ranked mode or eSport, plenty of content for both PvP and PvE, all for one price. It feels like a game that wants you to hop in and have fun, which is reflected in how nice the community is to eachother.

6:26 imagine seeing your kill cam where a camping foot soilder taunts and then immedelity gets blown to bits by a corn

Ea/popcap makes such bad decisions. They had a gold mine of pvz shooters and then quit after one failure.

Imagine the parallel universe where gw2 still gets updated and is popular

My dad plays 2 games, this and Fortnite on his X-Box. He used to play the first game exclusively but moved on to these two. He has been at the max level for as long as I remember him playing. His account is pretty cracked, and he has thousands of hours. He exclusively plays the first 50-kill game and cranks out multiple of them. He is always the highest rank in his lobby. I asked him this same question a while ago, "Why do people still play it." he said, "Because it's a great game." I love my dad, lol. (BTW, I'm pretty sure he never spent any of his coins, I wonder how many he has by now, lol)
  • for me i was allowed violent games and didnt exactly have any attachment to PVZ i think ironically the gunplay is genuinely very enjoyable, no matter what you actually enjoyed playing, all of the classes were enjoyable, even the cactus which plays more like a sniper i think the chomper makes it accessible to people who suck at the game too, i know i had a lot of fun with the chomper also the variants of the plants, i remember getting the plasma pea shooter and it made the game feel fresh etc i have a lot of good memories playing garden warfare with my friends and might try and get some of my friends to play it again sometime
  • Imo the youtubers are what keeps the game. Thank you noah for being one of them
  • I love this Game because 1. I used to play GW1 and GW2 a lot when I was young and 2. Its pretty much the only "competitive Shooter" which I can play when I just want to have fun and relax without getting upset or feeling any urge to tryhard. Usually when you play other competitive Shooters like COD, R6 Siege or Overwatch for example, you easily get upset at something or feel like you need to get better at it as fast as possible and want to sweat even more, learn all tactics, loadouts, Heroes and whatever else. Its often not really something you can actually lay back and relax with if you get what I mean. GW2 Is totally different for me personally and a very fun and chill experience, no matter how old you are. It amazes me that its still has such a big Community that keeps the Game alive so even after all these Years you can find full Lobbies and enjoy this piece of Videogame Art.

I rebought the game 3 days ago just to experience the grind again, will never stop playing this game
  • @N.R.A_Enjoyer
I LOVED gw1 and wanted to get gw2 but was worried it died, good to hear it's still going
  • @mateicocilea8913
The main reason I liked it was because all of the heroes had variants with their own special abilities , something very rarely seen in games. I could have a mech sword fight against a teleporting unicorn on a moon base and never get bored.

Shout out to my agent pea players, the class system was one of the reasons I kept playing GW2 instead of B4N, like I totally forgot some of these characters existed like the rock pea, the vampire flower and the hot rod chomper.
