    The thing I don't like about the upgrading system is that plants' damage doesn't grow in equal scales. Eg peashooters' damage can grow about 5 times larger during levels, while cannons for example won't even double their dmg on the maxed lvl. That alters the balance and makes some plants weaker comparing to the others.

    I think one way to fix the issue of the level system is to make it so you can scale it yourself. I mean that you can still level up your plant, but there’s some sort of way to choose lower levels to be played with. Let’s say you got a level 20 peashooter. You have have an option to swap between level 1, 10, 20, 15, or any other level below what you have unlocked.

    6:40 yeah, this one was actually insane back in the days, once i found out about this feature i abused it everywhere, and by that won alot of losing matches

    Fun Fact: The Knockback + Blover tactic (what i like to call it), can be applied to Primal Peashooter too

    Honestly I think there should be the option to play the game old school by turning plant Levelling off, if that would work I see it satisfying everyone. A notification would pop up warning the player if they want to play the level without plant levelling, perhaps you can even choose which plants you like levelled up

    I really wish they'd introduce a switch for plant leveling such that you could turn it off if you wanted to put the challenge back into the campaign or turn it on to beat 3 chili Penny's Pursuit and etc.
