How Bad is the PvZ GW2 Hacker Problem?

The only hackers I'm fine with are the ones who just chill and spectate the match, no killing or fucking up the game just them sitting there and watching both teams battle it out.

the worst hackers by far are the ones that use normal characters but with infinite damage that instantly kill you.

As obnoxious mod spammers are (and I do not allow any of those guys in any server), I will admit that a whole team of delivery chompers or delivery goats does sound like an interesting town hall idea. If only the current town hall rotation wasn't a complete wreck.

The yeti hacker, how is that fun your just one shoting the entire lobby

I actually agree that these cheaters are now taking their cheats way too far and making the game totally unplayable. When someone figured out how to make buffs online like when you get turned into delivery characters and the round ender, when the game ends at the wrong time and the map instantly changes, PC multiplayer is screwed for everyone who actually wants to play the game. I'm alright with some "cheaters" like the ones who play as a browncoat/weed or make themselves T-pose but 99% of people who have access to this and do it online always try to fuck the game up. BTW the Zen Senseis are plants because the guy who spawned them was on the plants team and there are no devs left on the game so it's run by AI.

the first time i played online, it was in town hall, and the timer was frozen (because of course it was) and i just asked the cheater to like, unfreeze it since it was my first game. And they actually did! they unfroze the timer and just...kinda left.

You see, the point to hackers who run around insta-shotting everyone is because they enjoy making other people suffer, if you find one like that, leave! If everyone instantly abandons the lobby every single time they try to do it it'll be less fun for them, PLEASE leave the lobby if you encounter one

You forgot about the instakill weapon hackers, they suck because its harder for people to realize they are hacking right away (like it even makes a difference)

Bloody hell, I swear every bit of gameplay I see on PC, it keeps getting worse and worse.

The reason you turn into a chopper is because some one in that lobby has an anti cheat but theirs a mod that blocks the anti cheat and when it detects that anti cheat everyone turns into a chopper. I’ve looked up the guy who created these mods and I heard he was going to make a lobby crashed, so that means servers are doomed when he releases that mod

I've been playing since gw2 came out on steam and have never found hackers in a match

I came across a hacker in graveyard ops once. We were fighting gnomes magnufying grasses and the giant electro pea from infinity time every kill got you 2,500 coins and i had 180k when i finished. I actually enjoyed it as it was different and gave me about 5 times the money

I find it hard to think about what hackers thought process is when they hack, they could be whoever irl

And this is why I am happy to play and STAY on console, I would never have the patience to tolerate shit like this

One time I was dealing with a hacker but it wasn’t that bad, they just spawned a single normal boss for each match and it was actually kinda fun trying to deal with the boss and the enemy team, prob just me though. I haven’t met too many people who are outright just annoying or malicious.

there's also hackers that just instakill everyone in the lobby or even end the entire lobby, I hate those ones the most

the only hackers i ever slighyl enjoy are the ones who transform all of you, not into immobile vegetables but unusable characters. reminds me of the old character showcases, nice little switch up sometimes

It always seems quite funny to have a hacker in your game but when they camp at the respawn place and kill every player.. yeah the fun ends.

bro i just came back to the game after a 2 year break and thought the infinite health zombies team-killing me were intentional 😆. Thank you for clearing it up, hope they fix this cus its unplayable
