Colleen, you had a migraine hangover! It’s a real thing and the last stage of a migraine before you feel like yourself again. I get those if I’ve had a bad migraine the day before. I’m sorry, migraines suck!

TTQ: COLLEEN! You always talk about how the twins favorite song is happy birthday, but have you ever made the connection that you found out their genders on your grandpa's birthday, they were born on Bailey's birthday and Wesley came home on Flynn's birthday? Not a question, but NO WONDER THEY LOVE HAPPY BIRTHDAY SO MUCH ❤❤😂🎉
  • i live with these migraines. my are chronic so i’m basically feeling like this every day of my life. it’s terrible. try soaking your feet in the hottest water that you can stand. even if it burns your feet—it will release some pressure in your head. i hope you feel better! i love you🩷

regarding the flashlight on the beach, maybe you could bring a UV light to the beach at night in order to find those uranium rocks?

Bluey is one of the best “kids” shows ever!
  • It could be allergies. Or a sinus pressure headache or an ocular migraine. Most of the time Tylenol isn't strong enough you'll need to take something for migraines or sinus pressure and certain lighting can sometimes make it worse. They suck.
  • Erik’s little “I don’t know what to doOOo” had me laughing for like 5 mins😂

Hey Colleen. Chronic migraine sufferer for 25-30 years. I wake up at 3 am often. My recipe to help is to take Advil (with a small bite of food) with some caffeine And. My secret weapon is a HOT SHOWER. The heat loosens the muscles in your neck and shoulders. So helpful. Stretch your shoulders and back. But heat on your neck and shoulders a must 😊

I suffer with migraines often. They’re so bad that I usually throw up because of the pain. I usually just sleep and I’m okay, but currently i’m dealing with a sinus infection, so I’m getting them around my eyes currently going down my face, it’s awful. Just try and rest as much as possible and drink plenty of fluids, if no progress, get in contact with your doctor.

I’ve had migraines since I was about 3 or 4 years old. Exedrin really works for me. But if I catch it too late, I try to press a pressure point. I always squeeze the bridge of my nose. That one helps relieve the pain. But other than that, I’ll just lay in a pitch black room or a really dark room with no nose.
  • I suffered severe migraines w/projectile vomiting for years; pain so intense, I'd be bedridden for days. In addition, EVERY TIME I HAD ONE, my emotions would absolutely tank; severe depression and overwhelming sadness. I had to keep a big sign by the bed - "Don't make any decisions about any situation if you're having a migraine".
  • I suffered from migraines for years before my doctor finally prescribed a rescue med called Sumatriptan. I suffered several more years before a neurologist finally prescribed a daily preventive medication called Propranolol. Doing much better now but occasionally still get them and need to take the rescue med for a few days. Mine are usually like a knife going through my right eyebrow area. I also get nauseous. I have also had the "exploding eyeball headache" once. That was terrible too. I think it was a Tylenol rebound headache after having some dental procedures. I'm glad you're feeling better, but if you get migraines pretty regular, please don't suffer for years unneccessarily like I did. You can ask your doctor for migraine meds right away. Preventive and rescue meds are available.

Migraine tips— take Excederin Migraine (helps so much) especially if you take it when symptoms are starting; drink plenty of water: avoid screens and even reading books (listen to audio instead if you’re bored); lie down in a dark room; cool cloth on forehead; hope that sleep and time makes it go away!

Maisey’s dance swagger was adorable and the joy on Wes’s face when they hit the gym. So fun!

Just watched the podcast and I can't not notice Carrot wearing sunglasses in the thumbnail and Colleen kinda squinting?❤😂

Hello Colleen and Eric, One of my friends gave me some of her Mom's collection of vintage vases, trays, candle holders, etc. Some of them are Uranium. I didn't even know till about a year ago that you can take a black light to the Uranium items and they sort of turn a different color and glow under a black light. Using a black light is how you check for Uranium glassware. That is so cool, like a cool little secret. Have fun in your fun adventures. Thank you for sharing your videos.

I had to work with a functional medicine practitioner for my headaches. Medical doctors never helped. I would be in the ER with panic attacks and horrific nausea from the pain. You feel crazy. I'm a different person now. I'm a better mom and wife. I can't believe I lived like that for so long. She got my vitamins and hormones balanced and did a test to find out which foods I was sensitive to that would inflame my body and destroy my immune system. It's a whole thing, but thank GOD I found her. I love her so much 😭
