Palak Paneer - tasty Indian cheese in homemade spinach sauce

INGREDIENTS
900g Spinach leaves (I have used hacked and frozen, fresh spinach would be just perfect)
400g Paneer cube
150g Tomatos
60ml Cooking oil (I used it both to fry and later to saute the spices)
50g Garlic cloves
4 tablespoons Cream
2 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Ginger, chopped
1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper powder
1 tablespoon Tomato paste
2 teaspoons Garam Masala powder
1 teaspoon Cumin powder
Salt – according to taste
150g Onion, chopped
1 small piece of cinnamon (optional)
1-2 Cardamom pods (optional)
1-2 Bay leaves (optional)
1 Clove (optional)
1 tablespoon dried Fenugreek leaves (optional)
