  • What really gets me is these scammers demonstrate a very poor grasp of the English language and yet,so many people fall for their crap.

I'm glad you brought that up about looks! Realistically what's 30 year old guy wants a 56-year-old woman whether she's good looking or she's not! Common sense and logic would just tell me! I think the worst one I saw was a 56-year-old woman who was extremely overweight and not that attractive and never been married until she met a 21 year old Guyana man I believe.... and married him and the whole family was in on it! My heart really went out for her! She lost everything!

My fav way of dealing with these idiots is by telling them i just got out of jail for killing a scammer, usually spooks them and they go away 😂😂😂
  • What a lovely lady you are! Hello, I am like your age, and I have my shares of goodlooking young guys that suddenly are desperate to date a woman who obviously are like 40 years older. I have never lost any money. But I have had a lot of fun - I pretend I am blown away and in love, and then - boom- I tell them who they are and what they are doing. And they get really angry, and we are done. Very satisfying! 😄

    I got scammed many times...almost gave one man money...thankfully, I didn't....

I saw the video on the Social Catfish site of the husband who believed a young woman had fallen in love with him and he was planning to leave his wife who was right there by her husband’s side in the video talking to the “Catfished” staff. His wife told him it was a scam but he didn’t believe her
.he did seem more convinced when Social Catfish exposed the scam for him. What was surprising to me was that his wife stuck by him and stayed with him even after he shunned and disrespected her for the prospects of having a younger woman. I can’t believe his cyber affair didn’t damage his marriage.

I used to bait the IRS and Microsoft tech support scammers. I'd hold them on the phone for hours and made them believe I was a victim. They were so mad when they found out all their time was wasted lol I've heard from several scammers that they steal because "You people in the US are all rich". One even said "You live like Justin Bieber in a mansion" haha I wish! Most of those scammers are in India, and considering the currency exchange, even $1000 USD goes a very long way there. The people operating the phones don't keep the money - the bosses get it. The bosses are driving Lamborghinis and live in penthouses. It's sickening.

You are telling the true and are funny too. I never got scammed by these people and i caught them within a very short time. One wanted to send me 500,000$ to purchase a house in Italy, lol...yeah, he wanted my phone number, address, name etc. Then he said how much money do you have in bank to go toward the purchase. Lol. Eventually, i told him that he was a scammer and he disappeared

What we consider being poor is not the same as the poverty in many countries.

Thank you for this. I just like messing with scammers until they bore me. Then I block them and report their accounts. I don’t take kindly to scammers or liars.

I really do not mean this to sound rude, so please understand this. Before anyone either joins a dating site or enters into conversation with someone she/he doesn’t know who sent them an unsolicited introduction on any site, it is IMPERATIVE to know how to use any-of-many FREE reverse image searches, and how to use Google to look up the name the person claims. If any scenario sounds unlikely: working on oil rig and having funds “frozen,” MD (they usually refer to this in scammer world as “surgeon doctor,) military asking for money for things covered by military, and so many more, one must Google the scenario and please discuss (what you’re being asked to do) with family and friends whom you trust. Social Catfish/Scamfish is NOT a social service agency; it’s a business. They charge to use their reverse image search, which anyone online can do for free. They have a monthly subscription fee, again, to look up things can anyone can do free of charge. When they take the cases you see in their YT channel, these people, who have already been scammed into giving away money, then pay Social Catfish to “research.” It is clearly stated in their site that they “research” using publicly-available resources only. They have no more skill or talent or resources than anyone else with online access. Essentially, they’re just another scam. If you don’t know how to do these simple searches (it’s a search, not “research,”) please learn how to do these things.
  • You will get better at the camera work. Thanks for sharing. We need more good people like you! 👍
  • I just found you and I immediately wish I had someone in my family like you to sit on the back porch on a summer afternoon and talk about scammers.
  • @jayteadesigns
I just discovered you and I love what you do! Subscribed!
  • @myzacky96
I love your video, letting them know your on to them, when they ask you for money, say;"wow that's the same thing I was going ask you"! You have to know who in your league and who's not
  • I always wonder what would happen if the woman in a online relationship would ask the scammer for money. As soon as they tell you that they are rich you come with a sob story and ask them for a lot of money.
  • You seem like such a kind lady and the way you say stuff is so funny 😆 I could listen to you talk for hours. I've been watching a ton of Social Catfish recently, I'm pretty sure that's why your video was recommended to me. I'm glad it was, I just subscribed. I don't know if you have seen Kitboga but he's my favorite scam baiter. He's really popular and hilarious. I don't think he's dipped much into love scams but he does a lot of tech support scams. He breaks down how they do the scams so you know what to look out for while at the same time driving the scammers absolutely nuts. It's a good time for sure 👍
  • I LOVE this! It's interesting when you look at the psychology of the scammer script.

Thank you Aunt Diane i have been watching romance scams for months now, at first it was something to watch until i realised the devastation of it all. I feel so sad for those people who have given all their money away. I play games online and am shocked at all the men who try to get you to set up a relationship with them on these games, fortunately i am not so trusting of a person who can't even be bothered to check google maps or in fact the english dictionary, or time zones, people just need to check everything and be aware.
