I just skipped the onions and the bread part and just used the cognac and white wine. Now I'm hungry.

"It's the perfect soup for broken hears and bad hangovers so I find it very useful," Didn't expect this relatable content on Jamie Oliver's channel.

I know this is an older video, but I have to say, this is still the best french onion soup I have eaten in my area. I'm enjoying making it again today. Thank you for your passion for cooking.

Just made this, it tastes NOTHING like the canned soup (looking at you Progresso) . It's actually very sweet, needs a nice pinch of salt to balance it out. Soooo good.
  • This man is the most precious man I've seen in quite some time. I want to cook in his kitchen. (In a totally wholesome way.) 😅

Hello French Guy Cooking! I finally got around to do this soup! I have a small period where i cant really eat solid foods, so i was looking for soups, and this one was a sure winner! I didnt go through with grilling the soup with cheese, but just eating it plainly with good bread. And it was amazing. I cooked it for 2 friends and the were also very pleased! And i didnt cry while cutting the onions, so no waste!!! Much love from Denmark!
