Yall calling her insensitive when you can clearly hear her voice shaky. She's emotional and shocked. None of yall know how you'd react if you saw that live.
  • Bigger then a game I think it's so wholesome that both teams made a wall to keep this off the live camera great job by all the players and safety personnel in knowing this is bigger then football.

Kudos to the medical staff for saving this young man's life.
  • 24 years old! Bless his heart! You can see the genuine care in his brother's faces. Prayers continue

I'm not into football or sports at all really, but this is so intense. The way he just collapsed without any sign of serious injury. And seeing the other players, big tough manly men, from both teams, showing such strong and genuine emotion. Recognizing immediately that this man's life is more important than the game. So touching. Im glad he's okay!

The silence that night was so eery. Never thought tens of thousands of people could be quiet in a stadium.

I remember waiting all day for this game and watching this happen. It shook me to my core, after 3-4 commercial breaks I turned to my mom and said β€œ mom I think he died” because 9 times out of 10 they would just remove them from the field but the fact that they stayed in that spot for that long kinda just let everyone know that this was a different type of injury. From a die hard bengals fan, I’m so glad he is making a remarkable recovery, WHO DEY
  • Medical team should deserve more praise than anyone else they knew the assignment as soon as Hamlin fell.. heroes.

Watching the aftermath of this injury, I don't think anyone would have expected the great outcome that Damar ended up achieving. I don't know if he will ever play again, but I'm so glad he has his life to decide!

Watching this live was scary!? You knew when you seen players covering their mouth so you couldn't read their lips it was really, really bad. I'm so glad he was able to pull through this. Those Dr, Medics, and trainers are A+
  • I’ve been playing and watching football for a long time and this is the first time I’ve ever seen something like this it’s honestly terrifying
  • I don't know if the audio is cut out in some parts, but you ever seen a stadium packed full of people that is that quiet? That's what makes you shiver. A stadium full of people and everyone is just silent.

I remember watching this and the silence in the crowd was just devastating. I'm happy for Hamlin's recovery

This is probably the rarest injury I’ve ever witnessed in an NFL game…it was all about sending chills up my spine based on this moment of nail-biting suspense
  • I don’t watch football, but this man is surely in my thoughts and prayers. Nobody deserves this πŸ™
  • This shows how people react, that everyone expects the worst....two weeks later looks like this man is going to recover and be well.....I Thank him for letting millions of people look at their own mortality and life is not a game.

I remember watching this live and just sat watching the TV in a mix of emotions for at least an hour straight. That's the scariest thing to happen in NFL history and I'm so glad Hamlin recovered from the incident.
