I survived a cardiac arrest myself still here over 30 years later. Prayers for healing.

When such a horrific injury occurs in a game such as this, and you see both teams’ medical staffs respond immediately, the colors of the uniforms are irrelevant as they come together not as Bengals or Bills but as trained medical experts working in perfect unison. Kudos to the Bengals and their fans and organization for their classy and professional response. Prayers
  • Although I don't follow the Bills I am saddened to learn that a 24-year old suffered cardiac arrest while making a tackle. We, as fans around the NFL should keep Damar and his family in our thoughts and prayers and hope he has a speedy recovery. 😳🥺🙏❤!!! Show the love, everybody!!! GodSpeed & GodBless you, Damar!!!
  • They did the right thing stopping the game. Thats was the respectful thing to do. This isn't just a sports injury he had a heart attack. And im sure none of the players wanted to play either. They were going to be scared to get tackled or tackle someone else. I know I would be. Much respect to the players and coaches.

I had a cardiac arrest during a pickup basketball game... To still be alive I was in a coma for 3 days and finally woke up.. Didn't know why I was in the hospital I wanted to get up in go but they said I just had a cardiac arrest.. didn't know death was right around the corner... A special lady gave me cpr during the time and forever thankful and blessed for God giving me a second chance in life. God bless his soul.

Much respect to the Medical staff!! They were on that man fast to save his life.. They stay ready
  • I watched the game where Tua Tagovailoa was sacked and on the ground in bad condition but he recovered. Now watching this live is 100x worse than that and I can't imagine what these guys are going through. Prayers for Hamlin, his family, and his teammates. 🙏

Praying for Damar, his family and thank you to the Bills & Bengals fans who were at the stadium and outside the hospital showing support. Ya'll showed up and are a class act. Sending strength and prayers to everyone!
  • I am glad to see they put a persons life ahead of sports and money. When it comes to a person’s health,no game is worth it.
  • This actually happened to me…my teammate died the same exact way they just couldn’t revive unlike Hamiln but watching that with Hamlin reminded me eerily the same way…both had heart attacks making a tackle.. Marcus Steele 1985-2000 and praying damar Hamlin his family and teammates…my passion for playing football left me that so I can imagine the pain they are experiencing even tho I’ve been there before

From a fellow Pittsburgher and central catholic graduate, I am praying for you Mr. Hamlin

This is certainly a tragic situation. While I am certainly praying for Hamlin, let's not forget to pray for Tee Higgins, who has rarely been mentioned. Imagine the guilt he is feeling after making the hit. The hit was legal and not excessive in any way but he must feel awful. Please remember him as well.

I'm not a Bills fan, but there is absolutely no room for rivalry. I'm shocked and hope that Damar will be ok as soon as possible. Prayers for you big man.
  • So glad everyone picked physical and MENTAL health over money in this instance
  • I don't watch football often, but this news was sad to hear, and even harder to watch. I have been praying for Damar, his family (especially his mother, who was there), and the NFL players and coaches. May he be healed and his strength renewed.
  • Lord please 🙏 help Damar Hamlin and answer everyone's prayers 'Amen' 🙏
  • Prayers to Damar, his family and friends, for his teammates, and to the Bills Mafia as a whole. I do hope that he will soon recover and get well soon.

At least excellent medical help was there instantly. He's young, he's in top shape so he has a fighting chance. Prayers to him and his family for a speedy and full recovery .
  • Every tragedy encountered in sports serves as a learning experience for everyone. Some of the soccer game played in Europe has seen so many players collapse & died on the field due to cardiac arrest while playing this beautiful game. I pray & wish the family a quick recovery.
