Alu posto - easy bengali style recipe with potatoes and poppy seeds

Recipe for Alu posto (or Aloo posto). This is a typical bengali recipe with potatoes diced into cubes and cooked with poppy seeds paste. A very simple and special bengali recipe, loved by most of the bengalis.

INGREDIENTS
500g potatoes
50g onions
50g poppy seeds (white or the Indian poppy seeds)
50ml cooking oil
2 small dried red or green chillies (optional, according to your taste. I used bonsai chillies)
10g salt (according to your taste)
warm water
