Hey Matt,,,the one set screw does more than just hold the key in. It needs to push down on the key to the shaft. Other screw goes against shaft. Thus u have 2 pushing against shaft.

The shaft the clutch slides over should be threaded. Get a bolt and big washer and a lock washer and it will never fall off again! Hope you see this so your family can ride with no issues!!
