  • Just for the record ... that is not the music I listen to. Shoes are super epic though. Very impressive design. 👌
  • @melvin882
imagine running a sub 2 hour marathon and all everyone's blaming it on the shoes
  • Nike should partner with Michelin or Firestone to have a durable outsole like what Adidas have with Continental under their ultraboost shoes
  • "Nike was able to have one of their runners...[etc]" um excuse me, Nike didn't break two hours. ELIUD KIPCHOGE broke two hours
  • @lonne6247
As a runner watching you cut up 275 dollar shoes hurts my soul
  • Another of Jerry's episode without the line - “....scratches at level 6 with deeper grooves at level 7”
  • It’s painful as a runner listening to them talk about running.
  • Great insight into this shoe.... After purchasing them today I was keen to see what was inside amd the science behind it all. Thanks team 💪
  • OK, 2 things……the fibres in the zoom air unit prevent the airbag from “ballooning” and keep the desired shape and low profile. When they use to call it tensile air they were using 40psi and the bags would inflate like a ball, they came up with fibres inside to hold the airbag to the desired shape and profile they wanted, tensile air became zoom air. Next, if the shoes wear quickly (as expensive as they are) just run in them until you wear them out, snap the carbon fibre plate and call nike for a warranty replacement, Nike will warranty a shoe for 2 years from the date of manufacturing so they will replace the shoe (several times in fact), so there’s that if you wanna get “value” for your money.
  • I myself am a runner and have been running with Nike technology for a couple years. I have done lots of research on these shoes and basically the Vaporfly save at least 4% of your energy and returns your energy forward. I believe that Zack didn't run that much faster purely because of the shoes. It could've been the adrenaline he got because of them plus the comfort and returned energy. Also, it's no surprise he ran that much faster especially that he ran his last three mile time trial in Addidas
  • He said “the guy beat the two hour marathon” bruh that guy is my idol and my wallpaper on my iPhone his name is Eliud kipchoge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🏃🏿 the best long distance runner in the world
  • When he said "if you are 300 pounds and running a marathon they would probably snap" my thought "if some one is 300 pound they probably wouldn't run a marathon" 😂
  • a very long time ago I had a pair of Air max shoes with that same air pocket near the sole of the foot and I felt like that propelled me as well. Although I'm sure it was nowhere as light as that shoe. Also, I once went running in rock climbing shoes and surprisingly that was faster than my sneakers. It was indoors though. I also think with a few runs under him, Zack could probably even learn to use the shoe more efficiently and knock off even more time.
  • “One of nike’s runners” and “the guy” come on man you can do better... it’s not any runner it’s Eliud Kipchogue...
  • There was a guy called J Thrope ,who lost his one shoe just before running in Olympics ..so he wore a mistmatched shoe from trash and won Olympic medal for it
