It would be extremely difficult but either way I think Michigan will have a better season than the haters are predicting
  • @Tyler-un8ly
Michigan fan here: I think it possible but I wouldn’t bet on it, I think all the talent is there but it depends on QB play all considered I’d be happy with 10-2 / 11-1 which I think is pretty likely

I love that Quinten Johnson came back, Kline is a beast, and that TE, RB rooms are the best in the country. Offensive line will be good. Persi, Anderson, and Bounds as depth. Could Possibly have the best defense in college football... Michigan will be better than people think. Mark my words.

The Texas game is going to be good but Texas isn’t coming to Ann Arbor and beating Michigan. Second everybody talks about USC, Washington and Oregon being competition. Really yeah they have good offense but no defense that’s why most of the games they played in the PAC-12 was so high. On the defensive side they to small. So which leaves me to the big game against OSU which will be good but I don’t think Ryan Day will beat Michigan. To be honest Michigan will be taking everybody best shot so they will be playing at a high level all season long. Let’s not forget this isn’t like when Jim took over the program he didn’t really have nothing compared to when he left. Michigan has talent across the board so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them back in the championship game
  • I’m a die hard wolverine fan. And would love to see us go back to back. But we have a lot of turnover. We do have a lot of great athletes stepping into starting positions that can be made into a championship caliber team. And Moore will have a similar approach as Harbaugh did as in mentality and game plan I just don’t see us repeating I think we can definitely compete for a big 10 title again. My prediction is Floor- 3 losses to Texas Oregon and Ohio The ceiling could easily be a good run in the playoffs

USC has far more to prove than Michigan does. I can’t remember the last impressive defensive performance out of a Lincoln Reilly team, if there ever was one.
  • Are people pretending USC is going to be a tough out next season? I genuinely think Illinois would beat them by 3 scores.
  • Is going to be nice seeing them win 2 in a row, 3 would be awesome 😂. They have some making up to do for the pain they have put me through 🥰
  • Michigan football most definitely winning back to back national championships 🏆🏆

They'll make the playoffs with a little help from 8 home games. Once in, anything can happen, but I don't think they'll repeat.
  • @Adam-vs2in
It doesn’t look likely they’ll win the NC this year but making the playoffs with everyone they lost last season is a win IMO.
  • @jakeMontejo3272
Yes, they have a chance, but I wouldn’t bet on it. They only need a game manager at QB1, which is their DNA the last 3 years. The defense is solid, elite according to some. Their lines on both ends actually have a lot of experience, because they rotated heavy the last 2 years but they no longer have the depth, which was huge for them. Their window closes after this year-they will drop dramatically. The most important staff members that made that team champions, are all gone & don’t seem to be able to close on top tier talent. They’ll be competitive but not on the same tier as Oregon, OSU & top end SEC teams. No Harbaugh and outgoing staff, not willing to pay for play like OSU will send this program back into mid level status.

If we go on to have 8-9 wins this season we will be positioned to be one of the best teams in CFB moving forward. It’s SUPPOSED to be a down year for us. If we do well with the crazy schedule we have our guys will move forward with AMAZING confidence and experience going into next years season. I’m ready.

It's a completely different game now with the 12 team playoffs. Winning the B1G Ten is good to guarantee a placement in the tournament, but not necessarily the end all be all. It's all about being one of the 12 teams and from there winning it game by game. For the four teams selected the top teams, they get a bye the first round. From there it is on. Any team can win it. It's not about rankings, or sportswriters, or polls, or whatever, win your game move to the next round, until you hit the finals. So, Michigan can drop a game, even the OSU game and make the playoffs, play OSU again, beat them and get to the finals. That means it's really two seasons, or three. Non-conference games of cupcakes, conference games, and then the playoffs. In any tournament it's about consistency and momentum and a plan. I like Michigan's chances. No way to predict what could happen because anything can happen.

I think this team is a lot better than most people think. If they can get good play at the QB position either from orji or warren (personally, I'm leaning warren), they're contenders. I'm thinking they head into the ohio game with 1, maybe 2 loses to get them into the playoffs. I think their defense coukd be as good, and possibly even better than last year. some guys in the secondary step up to provide needed depth there after the loss of moore and saab. They likely have the best Dline in the country which will allow the LBs to assist in coverage more. Offensively, they lost a lot, but their running game with edwards and mullings should still be phenomenal. I'm higher on their young WRs then most and Loveland could be the best TE in the country. As long as whoever starts at QB steps up, their offense should be very good. Personally, from the little I've seen, warren looks like the guy over orji, and it probably benefits the team more since his skillet is more similar to JJ's than Orjis is. This way they could largely keep the same offense as the last few years instead of implementing a new one to play to orjis strentghs; a big ask for a new coaching staff. IMO, the biggest keys tk whoever starts is accuracy on intermediate routes, ext3nding plays with their legs, and most importantly, 3rd down conversions. All things JJ excelled at. In ei5her case, they need to stick with 1 guy with no more than a handful of designed plays for the other. No 2 QB system that is sometimes tried in cfb and never works.

Another preseason championship for Ohio, 5x defending preseason champs 😂😂 this Michigan team is going to shock people offensively this season
  • @blkillia
If this was last year's team yes this team has too many questions and lost a lot of talent. We will be lucky to get 9 to 10 wins this year.
  • @DeshCanter
For the record, all the Buckeye fans are declaring Michigan’s ceiling is 9-3….Lol. These are, of course, the same people who have predicted Buckeye National Championships every year, so…..
  • @copeboi7714
We got dawgz. Next dogg up. As much as the people wanna say Michigan is overrated they’ve done well with finishing better than their preseason ranking the past few years
