It’s nice to see Finebaum not criticizing Michigan! Must be because Harbaugh gone and he proved him wrong! Also I like that the hate is trending towards osu. Go 〽️

Come on. Let’s cut the Buckeyes some slack. They live for the offseason and their paper recruiting trophies. It doesn’t matter to them if their talent by far exceeds the results on the field every year since 2014. They win a lot of games and prior to Day would beat Michigan every year. Any team that consistently gets the talent they get should either play in the Natty game or win the Natty game like 4+ times per decade. They are a horrible failure if you judge based on results on the field IN COMPARISON TO THE TALENT IN THE LOCKER ROOM. But shhhhh don’t tell them that. We want them to keep Day because he’s a “really really good leader of men and coach”.

Is he wrong? Michigan aside....he blamed the Clemson and Georgia losses on the refs....2021 Michigan weather flu....2022 his handpicked dc gets torched it was just 5 plays...2023 Connor stallions did all of it lol

Didn't Texas have 11 players taken in the draft and Michigan 13? I know Michigan lost their QB, but the QB isn't as important to their offense, as everyone knows. Automatically thinking Texas will beat Michigan could be premature.
  • I was at that game vs Georgia and that hit on marv was definitely targeting and that definitely changed the course of that game!

With the large number of seniors that Michigan lost, especially with multiple years of experience, what is not mentioned is the leadership that is gone from Michigan. That will play a huge role in games that matter. Like him or not, but the loss of Harbaugh will be an additional difference. Michigan had a great run for three years, congrats. But the new reality is it will start its inevitable return to at least 3 losses per year. I agree with his assessment of Ohio State. Buckeyes have the talent but there are no excuses this year.

That “Hang 100 on em” comment by Day will haunt him as long as he’s their coach. The universe works in funny ways and it doesn’t like arrogance.

As always, Ohio State will be no cupcake game. It’ll be a very pivotal game in the series come November. Let’s hope Michigan figures out their QB situation and their depth is the real deal on both sides of the ball to be successful. Just take it one game at a time. Go Blue!

Love the 'Walking Excuse' comment by Sam......you are totally correct.
