Just to clarify, Gorefield wasn't started by LumpyTouch, it was William Burke. LumpyTouch just made pixel art versions of Burke's art and that's what got it mainstream.

Yeah, this was a pretty cool, cute little game, but it was about twice as long as it needed to be and it could've leaned more heavily on its inspiration instead of trending into the generic.

i agree with manly when he said the other creatures aren't as cool/scary as the first one, that was a complaint i saw a lot on another letsplay of this too the other enemies just don't follow the same gorefield design theme (neither does the 'plot') and that hurts the game a bit considering 'gorefield' is in the title
