“Women on Death Row” tells the stories of America’s most rarefied criminals: women who have been convicted of murder and sentenced to the ultimate punishment—the death penalty. The series also covers the appeals process, including resentencing in some cases, and looks at how new legislation in some states impacts the conditions under which the convicted women live in prison as they await their fate.

A&E leads the cultural conversation through high-quality, thought provoking original programming with a unique point of view. Whether it’s the network’s distinctive brand of award-winning disruptive reality, groundbreaking documentary, or premium scripted drama, A&E’s brave storytelling always makes entertainment an art. I'm sorry, but are we supposed to feel sorry for her? She wants a fair chance, yet they didn't give the woman they killed a chance.
  • I have zero sympathy for her she murdered a young mum, she is we’re she belongs😡
  • If you can't deal with the punishment, you shouldn't follow an abusive man. The fact that she admitted to trying to break her neck, says that she had more to do with the whole situation than she will admit.

In another documentary it goes into WAY more details about how she was involved. She is not sorry for what she did and quite honestly that man wasnt worth it.
  • Emilia Carr is a monster and she’s right where she belongs. Emilia had a horrible childhood that is true, but she was as manipulative and dangerous as they come. She was never afraid of Josh Fulgham. Her story changes with different interviews as does her personality. Emilia could never be Heather and Josh would never love Emilia and jealousy ate at her day after day. She has tried pretending like she felt sorry for Heather and that they were cool but nothing could be further from the truth. Emilia tried to hire someone to kill Heather, she put a knife to Heather’s throat, and harassed her. Heather is the victim not Emilia Carr. RIP Heather Strong you deserved so much better. If anyone is interested, there is an excellent eight part series on the BBC three channel covering this case and it has a lot of the interrogation and you can really see Emilia Carr’s true colors aside from the confession you see Emilia’s attempts at changing the narrative.

My sympathy lies with Heather Strong, her family, and the children who no longer have a mother.
  • @Alice-ui9oy
If she has really changed she would take responsibility for her actions, and stop causing ongoing suffering to the actual victim's family by trying to call herself a victim.
  • Im sure Heather wanted to go home also. She was fighting for her life & her freedom but these two losers took that away from her. My sincere condolences to Heathers mother & her family. Rest in paradise Heather 💜💜✝️💜💜

Amilia, Heather fought for her life too, but you didn’t stop.
  • @MrBetc
Do the crime Do the time, stop whining about your decisions, you are not the victim.
  • Emilia claims that "she is not the same person", maybe so. Her problem is that the girl she killed is exactly the same person, still dead. The punishment fits the crime.

My god, I feel beyond devastated for Heather’s mum, the pain and regret is palpable. I can’t imagine how hard it must be to just find the will to get up each day and carry on.
  • @cawleene
It's so hard to listen to her whine about being in prison while knowing what she has done.
  • You don't need to live. You're talking about you need to live. How did that girl feel when you guys tied her up and killed her? Did she fight for her life. Did she scream and yell and say I want to live You don't deserve anything
  • @daisyb4614
What you did to Heather was absolutely savage you belong in prison!
  • It always amazes me when these people feel sorry for themselves and all they are missing. Excuse me? What about your victim(s)??
  • @La19930
You lost your freedom when you chose to end that lady’s freedom that night! This was a waste of 10 minutes…
