I don't understand miller's wife wanting "to be a good wife" AFTER he told her he'd murdered a girl! 😯 And another reason she said she stayed with him was because she didn't know if it was true or not. 🤔 Who in their right mind would not want to find out if there might be such an unresolved case in that area? Wouldn't most people want to know whether they're living with a murderer or not?!! And who in their right mind would want to live another minute with someone who just told them that; whether it's true or not?!!! 😯 Claiming to have murdered someone with all the gory details is just not normal conversation! I would be out of there real fast and taking that info to the cops! As for the 3rd story, the survivor/victim should have realized that 'muggers' do NOT lure their victims to an address the victim can identify later! Muggers operate out there on the streets. If you're lured to an address under false pretenses, the plan is you're not getting out alive. He was incredibly lucky to have escaped. He should have realized the seriousness of what he experienced, put his 'embarrassed' ego aside and reported it to police. It might have helped save a life.
  • The first story, such a tragedy for Roxanne and her husband, such a triumph for science. I hope Terry Wood found some peace. All cold case murderers should be expecting that knock on the door.

Hope about a SHOUT OUT to Pink hair, tattoos, motherhood, and gardening never judge the book by the cover ,or, the color of the cover😊

Roxanne’s sister’s dream at the end of that segment 😢😭❤️
  • The mistake that the cop made in seeing the Zombie dude being good to his daughter, beyond the fact that it could have been an act, is that there are plenty of men who see the women that are their victims as objects, playthings, worthless, but who are also great husbands &/or dads, because those women do matter to them. But then, when you get a look at his house, you realize that even being a decent dad when eating our, but forcing her to live in a dump, should make the cop lose that "gut" feeling.

I enjoy these marathons when 48 hrs adds in a few older episodes from before 2018 that I've never seen before ❤
  • Good thing I watched this marathon, because the third episode was brand new to me.

Huge thanks to the students who did the massive data entry work in this case. Every member of the team solved this case.
  • We're all so sick to our eyeballs of hearing about a bad childhood and all these new fake acronyms regarding mental whatever!
  • I also don't believe his claim that his mother beat him & molested him. If that were the case, why did she want him to not return home? Why wouldn't she just beat him more? He created that fantasy, just like his zombie hunter fantasy. How did he remember his other attacks?
  • The method of DNA analysis in the first case would be an easy vulnerability for the defense to pick at… especially with how small the DNA sample was.

All three are old episodes already available on this channel, sadly.
  • the incompetence/ineptitude of the cops & investigators is INFURIATING !!
  • What I cannot understand and is very heartbreaking for me is with the final story, this sick man who cannot be rehabilitated, who killed and dismembered someone, who got such a short sentence for the life he took, is getting out and there is a book about his life, which has been sold to a movie company. This sick man who did these vile things, his life is being glorified in this book and now a possible movie about what he did....short sentence and now a celebrity, because the book and movie is about him...which is EXACTLY what he wants....exactly what will give him pleasure...how sick is this world that wicked people doing vile things and there evil work is commemorated in books and media for entertainment 😢😢😢how is this justice for those who lost their lives at the hands of such sick people. The killer will be glowing with delight if this becomes a movie...this is incredibly sad for me😢I don't understand😢
