Slayyy Koko! Tip: white pants are usually for dressage and jumpers, tan pants are usually for hunter jumpers :) otherwise, you slayed. Also, in hunter jumper flat classes they usually don’t do backing up and stuff irl. There are different flat classes- one based one how you look as a rider (called equitation), and one based on what the horse looks like (called hunter). They usually want more collection for eq flat classes, and more flowy/loose for hunter flat classes. Same idea for hunter and eq jumping classes too :)

as a dutch sso player, i have never ever seen flat shows or anything like that in sso, i've been playing for years now. In starstable servers in the netherlands people only train together, roleplay together or ask people to help them record. never ever have i seen stuff like this, wish i started on english sso. looks much more fun. also i ride hunter (both flat and over fences) and you did amazinggg!!

GOOD JOB! A tip for the over fences, when she goes through the course she isn’t going how you are supposed to ride it, you are typically expected to go at a “gallop” or “canter”, she only went down to trot so people could catch up. However if they say that they want you to trot at certain times then you do as they say. Hope this helps!

Hi koko! You did so much better this time! I'm so glad you got 1st. I noticed a few things so here are a few small tips :) - Typically we use silver bits and stirrups! - Tan/beige breeches are usually better than white since white is mainly in dressage and show jumping! - Unless the judge tells you to track a specific way (left/right) you can track anyway you want! - If a rider is coming at you (tracking the opposite way than you) in the same gait as you make sure to pass left shoulder to left shoulder. If they are going faster then you then they will pass on the inside, while you should stay on the rail and vice versa.  - Tracking left means your left shoulder faces into the inside of the arena, while tracking right means your right shoulder should face the inside of the arena! - Curling should only be used if you have lots of space between you and the horse behind you so you guys don't crash! Some shows may not allow Q-line passing so you might only be able to use curling. If someone in front of you is curling and they didn't leave enough room you should curl too to avoid crashing into each other. - If you wear a bow, you can get more space between the horse behind you. If using a bow, you should wear red: your horse can kick so give more space or pink: horse is in heat and stallions should keep distance. - Typically we gallop the whole course in hunter over fences. Sometimes the judge will have you do trot jumps, but when they show you the course they might slow down so others can keep up. I hope this helps! Great job, you're progressing very well!! <33

I would love to give some credit to koko for being an influence on me starting to do flats in sso. I used to never talk and then I switched over to another server and I have been doing so many flats lately. I LOVE YOU KOKO!!

making your camera zoomed out makes it easier to see where other riders are to avoid crashing, changing UI to large and moving chat to the top of the screen makes it easier to see commands! hope this helps someone i do flats constantly on sso haha
