  • Dr. Mike aggressively jumping in anger roasting medically inaccurate stuff on TikTok has me dying 😂
  • I swear these tiktoks are getting REALLY medically concerning...
  • @Deenurr
I could actually cry for poor Dr Mike…. I can’t IMAGINE the frustration when people are talking bollocks about your speciality and that speciality is SAVING LIVES!
  • @MissBlueEyeliner
I have generalised idiopathic epilepsy and M.E and have episodes like the last girl. I’m not sure what causes it but it’s like being in a dream, or a nightmare, and at the same time your body is slowly giving up too but you can’t ask for help. Now that I think about it, it’s kind of like waking from a nightmare into sleep paralysis.
  • @AGmarsen
That sauna guy had me laughing so hard. "Your risk of dying of all things goes down". Imagine being hit by a car but then you remember that you went to the sauna so you just stand up and keep walking.
  • @HeyV63
I LOVED your reaction to the cayenne pepper lady. I'm right there with you it makes my blood boil to no end to see people spread their stupidity like wildfire.
  • @freshIight
This video is how I found out about PCS and I am SO RELIEVED! I spoke with my doctor and after asking me a few questions about my chest pain he is confident in saying that PCS is most likely the cause. If I feel other areas like neck or my arm being affected as well I need a check-up, though. Again, I am SO relieved! Thanks for mentioning this in your vid, I was worried but forgot to talk about it when visiting my doctor.
  • as a figure skater, those spinning things are so much fun but very difficult to stay centered on. as someone with low iron anemia, it’s even more dizzying but worth it. definitely try if you have the opportunity, you don’t have to go that fast, the tighter you pull in the faster you go.
  • Mikes rage is getting to be the best. Lol. How do people actually believe these TikTok’s. Thank you Dr. Mike for pointing out this stupidity.
  • Mike seems like such a friendly, positive guy. Seeing him have a mental breakdown on camera over these tik toks makes me feel better about my bitter self
  • @hughsonj
I applaud you for calling out these snake oil pseudo scientists and mystics. It is important for qualified experts to call BS for what it is and to educate people.
  • @bwctubes
That point about false extrapolation of statistics is SO important. That error isn't just made intentionally by hucksters, but unintentionally ALL the time by well-meaning media outlets.
  • Doctor Mike is underrated. He is educating people in an entertaining way, and it’s awesome
  • @estrobart6785
Props to Doctor Mike for fighting misinformation with such enthusiasm and accuracy!
  • @jojotheswede8444
My old gym teacher made my whole class learn how to do chest compreshions, still haven't had to do any but when it happens i'll be ready!
  • @amy82910
I’ve had that random chest pain since I was 12. I had it checked when it first appeared, got an ECG and everything was normal so I just got told it was growing pains. I still get it 6+ years later and I literally thought it was just me lol. I’m glad I’m not the only one tbh.
  • As a registered nurse, I identify with Dr. Mike's meltdowns!! 🤣🤣🤣 I cannot even describe how many times I've seen some crazy "home remedies" on social media and ranted about how ridiculous & dangerous some of them are!!
  • @XxKiKiKaosxX
As someone who has almost died from a pulmonary embolism and then had to take blood thinning medication, that lady with the pepper had me LIVID.
  • @Just_A_Dude
That first segment reminded me of something I was told once, when I was feeling disheartened by the low success rate of CPR outside of the hospital. You don't give CPR to a living person, you give CPR to a corpse. 10% success rate starts to look pretty good when you're talking about straight-up mugging the Grim Reaper to steal back someone's soul.
  • @Lynn-cf4cc
Glad that you mentioned the hypoglycemic possibility. I had a scare when i was 14 or 15 where my parents rushed me to the hospital because they thought I was having a stroke. The hospital, oddly enough, ever checked my blood sugar. It took four people, thirty minutes, and six poke for two IVs, and the never checked my blood sugar. When I was discharged, they said it was a migraine and dehydration. The real issue? My blood sugar was way too low. My dad's side of the family has a history of hypoglycemia and I have Tourette Syndrome (people with TS tend to also have issues with low blood sugar).
