This was one of the few games i had on my PSP. I played countless hours of it and was one of the few reasons why I was happy of owning a PSP

The “Stories” side games on PSP were a gem. Me and my dad would play this all the time

The Forklift mission can easily be labelled as the toughest mission in the Pre-GTA 4 titles.

In terms of the rage-quit missions from each GTA, as bad as the train robbery is in San Andreas, I'd say it doesn't even come close to the awfulness of the remote-controlled plane mission on that rooftop with David Cross yelling in your ear the whole time lol
  • This and LCS are absolute classics that have been forgotten about, such a shame these never got on modern consoles or pc

Was always hoping they would do a San Andreas stories... I loved revisiting Liberty City and Vice City with new content and mechanics.

i remember getting this game as a pirated copy for PS2, i asked the tenant who would do that thinking on getting VC, but me not knowing anything about it said "Vice City Stories" because i heard that name once. What followed is one very beautiful part of my early teen years. I keep a copy of VCS whenever i wanna play it again, despite the pain it makes me endure. And the OST, nothing but good things to say about it, VCS showed me great bands and singers that i follow and listen to this day like Allan Parsons Project, Dio, Autograph, Dokken, Phil Collins, among others.

Impossible for me to forget this. The first ever gta game i finished. also the tragic romance between vic and louise is honestly a bit unforgettable.

No sir, I remember this gem. I used to play it on my PSP and absolutely loved it.
  • @Tranquilismith
I still remember playing this on my psp at the airport at 4 in the morning. The fact they put Phil Collins in the game till this day still blows my mind

Can we also consider Chinatown Wars? I mean, it had some mechanics that any other GTA's game never had: the minigames while stealing cars, for searching in trash bins, even talking about the jobs that you can do; creating molotovs, placing bombs, doing tattoos, selling crap and having also trophies for that)

It was pretty dang fun on the PSP. Running a more advanced version of the drug empire from the OG Vice City was my favorite part.

More games should have funny radio shows like this and in the Fallout series.

This was my first ever introduction to the Grand Theft Auto series and god damn it was sure a gem!

Ah, yes, the game that introduced me to GTA, ever since a friend of mine showed it to me it changed my perspective on videogames for the rest of my life. There was something about a game where you're free to do whatever you want and go wherever you like without being held back by invisible walls or time limits that made me obsessed with the franchise for a very big part of my childhood years.

Played VCS by an emulator from my PC. Gotta say, it was Vice City with a lot of improvements. The Empire building mechanic is awesome and it really feels like your earned your place at the food chain. The radios are absolute gems and still are among my all time favorites in gaming in general. The campaign just could have been a little better like giving Sgt Martinez more appearances other than being the classic bad guy that you will kill at the last mission, but still the Scarface feeling was much stronger in this game with the Empire building from scratch and the absolute threat that the Mendez brothers were throughout the story
  • @DAFTBONCHKOOPA
I loved this one and I definitely felt some of the mechanics from San Andreas in there. Being able to copy your save from PSP to your PS2 and vice-versa was a game-changer back then too.

This is a game i won't forget. I was a kid traveling with my family to Egypt and fortune had it, that another kid on the airplane had this game too, we spent the whole flight playing the multiplayer in the game. Shame we never met afterwards cause weirdly it's the most memorable time from that vacation...

One of the best GTAs in my opinion. It’s criminal how this game is forgotten.
  • @Everyonesbuddy829
I remember that game. I remember every bit of it because that game is so unique. 1) You start as a corporal in the army. 2) You learned that your protagonist has a brother with asthma & a broken mother. 3) He will be forced to enter illegal work ordered by SGT Jerry Martinez which include bringing a girl on a military base he didn't even back you up & you ended up being removed from the army. My most hated mission as a child was Boomshine Blow out you know the one where you need to save the boomshine from the fire using a forklift truck. Back when me & my cousins where kids we called this game GTA Nigro. I know kinda racist but we didn't really remember the title due to the repetitiveness considering that there's already a game on PC entitled GTA Vice City.
