the mccarthy one handed catch into the back-foot dime was legendary

โ€œ Inches from walking in โ€œ! Huh? Bro got stuffed. Wasnโ€™t even close.
  • @Kramer-tt32
I love how espn still talks more about the SEC team that lost.
  • @abubakrwally805
Michiganโ€™s special team tried their best to lose this game
  • Can we be honest for a second... michigan outplayed bama from the jump..and had bonehead plays along the way... 2 muffed punts... 1 turnover...miss xp, missed fg
  • From an OSU congrats Michigan. This is the only game in my life I ever rooted for Michigan sorry but wonโ€™t do it next week lol
  • @ynp1978
A lot of crickets this morning in Alabama!
  • @LiamHartsuff
Even if the right tackle doesnโ€™t get pushed back into Milroe, Rod Moore (number 9) is right there to stop him and Saintistil (number 0) would have also assisted that tackle so idk what this guy is talking about โ€œwalking inโ€

Despite the fact that everyone knew he was going to run that play, it was the one play that I as a Michigan fan was most worried about.
  • @teeeeceeee
I don't see it being "inches away from being a walk-in touchdown" at all??? edit: it looks and sounds more like one bad block and one mis-read away LOL
  • @korhines2
ESPN look how close this was... So basically the SEC won. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  • Does ANYBODY IN THE COUNTRY agree with Hasselbeck that the Bama play was a good play? I'm a Michigan fan & I couldn't believe they ran that.

That's a bad take. Its not a bad call but the guard never touched the Linebacker, the DE #8, had good leverage, on the inside, there's no guarantee he walks in. Tim drew it up where the guard blocks the LB, he didn't. The LB ducked underneath the block and was in position to make the tackle as well. On paper its a walk in - Alabama's front got blown up all over the place on that play call

Why are we listening to a lifetime backup QB telling us it was a good play?
  • Yeah, Iโ€™m sitting there watching Tim Hasselbeck analyze this play and Iโ€™m confused where he said that this was a good play call. I donโ€™t see how Milroe was going to get into the end zone, considering that the middle was still blocked up
  • Hasselbeck could not be more WRONG! Even Saban admitted it was the wrong call for what Michigan was showing defensively, but Bama was out of time outs, and QB stayed with called play. In that defensive set, ALL 11 players were expecting the QB run and got what they wanted. QB should have audibled next play. So IT WAS DOOMED. Maybe QB gets a yard or so, but NEVER 3 yards!

Michigan played their 2nd worst game of the year vs Alabama (Maryland was #1) and still won. I only watched 4 Bama games before this, so I cant say it was their best game, but they did not make nearly as many self inflicted mistakes as Michigan did.
  • @JMAN97712
Lol itโ€™s wasnโ€™t close. ESPN really trying to make Alabama look good at the end. He got stuff in the back field. Of it was Michigan that made that play. ESPN wouldnโ€™t be defending them at all lol.
  • @user-lt1fx2he5s
Michigan got to Jalen Milroe all game 6 sacks 116 passing yards
  • @martinclay2680
It would have been justified if it was at the 1 yard line, but they were too far from there, like they didnt have faith on Milroe to throw it.
