BlendJet is a USB blender that has been heavily advertised on social media. Today I put it to the test.

The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud youtube.com/post/UgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zE… but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!

TBH, any blender that comes with a strainer to drink your smoothie is probably a bad sign.

So glad I watched this. I was truly considering buying one.
  • @DummyAccount
I was watching this guy review a blender, when suddenly a giant walks into the room :-o
  • @Kittems
Seems like thats more of a mixer then it is a blender lol
  • @blueclothes1
I have a suspicion Kyle is actually 2 full grown humans duct taped into one giant human 🤔
  • Watching this channel has taught me to stay away from 95% of as seen on tv products lol

I love how fair you are in your reviews! This thing is hot garbage!

Of course that’s a Kyle.... watch your drywall and monster drinks!

My guess is that the engine is too fast but has too little torque. As soon as I saw that vortex looking almost like a perfect column of air instead of a cone, I already expected failures. It was later confirmed when blueberries and banana pieces were just spinning at the same height. If the food doesn't touch the blades, what use does it have? NONE! Maybe if the blender was just a little bit slower with more torque, things should improve. Good idea, bad execution.

I don't know why, but that slushy ice plopping into the sink made me laugh. 😂 Great review as always, James.

Ninja = 1/3 horse power, BlendJet = 1/3 mouse power.
  • @DoctorFashion
Thanks for the review ! I would’ve been mad if I ordered this especially since I’m considering adding spinach and some of the same stuff as you.. I’ll just stick to my home ninja blender for now lol

I love that you are an honest person and you devote your channel just to help to save our money. And you’re not seduced by big companies that would offer a lot of money to you to give a good review for them. Thank you
  • 1) I ordered a Blendjet blender vs other similar products on Amazon because I loved the story about the Blendjet founders - only it turns out that the design is US made but the blender itself is made in China ! Had I wanted a China-made product, I would've ordered one from Amazon, delivered the next day and for less than £21 ! 2) Today, I made my first smoothie with a very ripe banana, some fresh mint leaves, protein powder, oat milk and frozen mango. The only thing that was properly mashed was the banana. Although I repeated the process 5 or 6 times (and added the small mango pieces little by little), not only did the mango not get smashed, but also the mint leaves and I had to chew all that because I didn't feel like putting everything in my normal blender to get the result in 20 seconds (my Lidl German-made is a small yet super powerful blender, not a large one, and only cost me £14.99). Since ice is harder than the frozen mango I added to my smoothie, how on earth does this blender achieve to crush it as it boasts to do ?!!! 3) What is that sieve for ? And how am I supposed to drink my smoothie ? That ribbed edge is quite unpleasant. That proud "California design" didn't think of adding a mouth spout to drink comfortably from, well well well... Even some of the Amazon models had one... As a result, I had to transfer my smoothie in the little Lidl container that has a mouth spout and chewed on the mango and mint morsels instead of drinking them. :((( Consequently, I am sorry to say that I don't think that I can leave a favourable review. This product has fallen below my expectations and it seems like an utter waste of money that will stay on a shelf, rather than going outside with me. I might as well prepare my smoothies/protein drinks at home and carry them with the convenient Lidl containers that I made them in. I think that about sums it up. I am usually happy with the products that I buy online and more than happy to leave positive feedback but not in this case, I'm afraid... Especially for the price and having had to pay an extra £15 in customs fee, not to mention having waited 6 weeks to finally get it. :(((

Thank God I saw this review, this looked like a great product and I'm so glad I goggled reviews before buying it. Thanks a lot!

I know you probably won't see this but if possible would you consider making a video on their new model the blendjet 2
