It seems fairly obvious that you already had a negative opinion before you started. If you read the directions, they recommend letting the fruit thaw for 5 to 10 seconds for an easier blend. For the price, it's fine for the convenience of a portable blender. Shaking it a bit once or twice during blending isn't quite as onerous as you would like us to believe. There's a sipping lid available, but if I make a particularly thick drink, a large smoothie straw is easy to use in the open container. I can't see why you wouldn't finish your drink in one sitting (it's not like you're blending a gallon), but how hard is it to pour into another container for storage? And what was the point of complaining about the process of making nut butter when you stated that it wasn't part of the product's uses? I'm very satisfied with my BlendJet 2 and feel your nit-picking lacked objectivity.

First: If all else fails, read the included instructions. Second: The directions state to pour your liquid in first. Third: The instructions explain how to fix a blade “jam”. Fourth: You can purchase the drinking lid & the insulated sleeve.

I’ve have two BlendJets and they’re still going great after two years! It’s rechargeable- in Australia, our powerbpards have USB sockets, so the cable is fine. You have a choice of lids that you clearly haven’t seen. The charge port is on the front so you can see when it’s fully charged. I love my Blendjet2! 😍❤️❤️🇦🇺

I love my BlendJets. Started out with one for myself, ended up getting 12 more for gifts. I also ended up getting another one for myself for at the office. I found when blending frozen fruit, turn it as it's blending. I never stick knives or spoons in the blender, I don't want to ruin the blades. Just make sure you have enough liquid in the blender when doing the frozen fruit. Remember, it's not a full size blender, and it won't do what a full size blender does. Trim your expectations and enjoy :)

I bought the sipper lid. You can put the sipper lid on tip and turn the blender upside down and remove the base. Then you can screw on the original lid and have the portability without the base.

Have Blendjet 2 for about a month, with no problems. I made sure to read the directions carefully, and made all the things you tried here, with no difficulties - frozen fruits, crushed ice, multiple ingredients, etc. Important to put the liquid in first! And don't stuff all the contents in all the way to the brim. I think you'll get way better results.
  • If you blend frozen fruits you have to add liquids first and then add frozen ingredients like strawberries bananas or mixed berries

I have the original BlendJet, and I love it! It's really strong, and it quits after about 20 seconds. I plug mine into the same plug that I use for my phone. (Yes, it really should have come with one.) Best jobs are small smoothies, dalgona coffee, and whipping heavy cream. To clean, pour in some water. Add tiny bit of dish soap. Fill up with more water. Blend. When it quits, rinse completely, then fill up again. Blend. Done! I do not drink out of this. It is a BLENDER. I drink out of a GLASS.

Blendjet now has a “Orbiter Drinking Lid” for ease of of drinking from the blender. Also, you can buy the extra large 32 oz jar that attaches to the standard blender and increases the capacity.
  • @51andhappy44
I would think that you could leave the lid on it, turn it upside down and remove the base. Drink straight from the plastic with the lid upside down.
  • @deneenmoss3967
I don't have a problem with my blendjet at all. I crunch ice in it and frozen fruit without a problem. I know why you had so much trouble.
  • @andischuff
I add the liquid first. Then the powder. Then the fruit. Then the ice. To un-jam, shake it, flip it upside down, turn it on, and slowly move it back to upright position while blending. Orbiter lid is available for purchase. To clean, just blend some warm water + a drop of soap. 😉
  • @deatrafinley5591
Why didn’t you follow the directions that BlendJet provided for fixing stuck items and making nut butters?
  • @bentenison4194
If you would have been using this thing as instructions say, maybe you would not destroy it. For frozen fruits and stuff, well liquid always goes in first, and before you start blending, you can turn it upside down, then press the button, then turn it back, so it will not get stuck so easily.
  • Hi Joe I just got one today for Christmas I got it charging now for an hour. I got it as a gift and I'm just going to make homemade milkshakes in it. Thank you for showing how it works with Frozen items. Have a happy holiday 🍶🍨

Btw mine was recalled. Mine broke after 2 weeks. So just left it for 3 years. Now it was blessing in disguise. 300 reports of fires and exploding blades. Glad I didn't get hurt or cut.
  • I love my BlendJet II, I purchased the next sized cylinder and the lid that has a swivel spout for more comfortable drinking from the blender, It’s just right for my OPTAVIA smoothies and ice cream. Just right for one serving, So to answer your concern about having to unscrew the lid to drink, and having to drink over the threads, BlendJet II has a solution for both - they just come at an additional price which I was happy to pay since it wasn’t very much. They also have a carry bag that can clip onto your bag, or slip inside your bag.😊

“I’m going to add less fruit this time…” Fills the entire thing with fruit
