I loved the phrase: " chemicals that extend their shelf life and decrease yours". So true.
  • @lekhraj2482
Best line “ Chemicals extends their (packed food) shelf life, but reduces yours. “
  • This video changed my life. No packaged food now. It has had a great impact on my body
  • @RayMak
As a food science student and practitioner. I fully agree!! Just dropping by to show my love for Indian food!
  • I lived in India twenty years ago and absolutely loved that you made meals from real ingredients. Don’t let Western companies sell you our model of processed foods. It WILL kill you!

This video brings up a really thought-provoking question: if bacteria won't eat it, do you really want to eat it?

People are made to believe that most of the packed foods are healthy by companies with the help of celebrities. Unfortunately we fall into the trap

I knew I loved Indian food for a reason! This is a great video! I want to say the hardest thing I've ever done, I am not joking was to give up processed foods. I still eat saltine crackers when my stomach is upset but rarely. I lost 7 pounds giving up processed pretzels, snacks. Hard to do but it's worth it.
  • I’m a big fan of these spices for any kind of cooking. I’m glad to see this sort of public outreach for healthy living. We can see the obesity problem rising in China where people were much thinner at one time. So public outreach is absolutely important to a healthy society.

I am living proof that what you say is true about processed and packaged foods. I used to get away with eating all kinds of junk before a catastrophic injury left me with chronic pain. Quite by accident I discovered that eliminating sugar and processed foods greatly lessened my pain. I began researching foods that promote and foods that prevent inflammation and plan my meals accordingly. Needless to say this requires total abstinence from refined foods. Thank you for your report. You're not really saying anything new but you say it with such plain-spoken certitude that it reinforces my resolve to embrace a way of eating I used to eschew as new-age hype.
  • "Chemicals that extend their self lives but reduce yours" 👌👌

Palki, you have picked on a very sensitive subject. You have provided a much needed perspective. Nothing healthy can ever come packed in a box
  • I love how she deliver every pieces of details and information about this matter.
  • I recently (at age 62) gave up processed foods a few months ago and find it is so much more affordable to cook from scratch. I buy lots of frozen fresh vegetables and replaced meat with fresh eggs. I gave up sugar, flour, lard and replace with honey, butter and coconut flour or almond flour. I feel so much better and I have already lost 10 lbs without feeling deprived.
  • "Chemicals that extend their shelf life but reduce yours" what a punchline, if this doesn't open people's eyes and mind, nothing else will. What an amazing lady!! It's always such a pleasure listening to words just roll out of her mouth, Big fan 🙏🏽🤣
  • "NO RECESSION FOR BITCOIN AS U.S. GDP SHRINKS, ZIPMEX FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY " I saw this coming and I told my few friends about getting into crypto with me when I first started but they neglected my advise, now crypto is the only safe heaven right now
  • Many of the foods that we chow down on every day were invented not for us, but for soldiers. Energy bars, canned goods, deli meats all have military origins. Same goes for ready-to-eat guacamole and goldfish crackers. HPP is an exception
  • At last, Palki I’m so glad that you put out this information as I’m always concerned and aware of the harm processed food can cause. I’ve always cooked fresh from scratch as I’ve never been a fan of processed foods also being a vegetarian I learnt to cook from my aunts, and grandmother so glad they were passed down cooking skills and hence onto my children. It’s both fun and enjoyable. It’s the parents responsibility to ensure the future generations do the same. I’ve worked full time but managed to put good simple Gujarati food with hot rotis everyday which my children enjoyed. It gave me so much pleasure knowing they ate healthily. Secondly, videos on YouTube about Indian street food are ruined by adding on piles of cheese and laden with mayonnaise in almost all street food. Not only it looks disgusting but unhealthy. I don’t think in general the public are aware of health problems they may encounter in future. Please make public aware. Indian food is so misconstrued. It’s the most tastiest and healthiest.
