  • “I don’t really talk in depth about submarine capabilities...it’s the silent service” That gave me goosebumps 😎
  • Had the pleasure of serving with then Captain and now Admiral Paparo twice in my naval career. The man doesn't change for the cameras. This is him. Direct, confident (but never arrogant) and loyal to the United States.

"If I don't want to be hit, there's something I can do about it" the way he says it is so reassuring
  • @TimeBucks
God bless people trying to keep the open dialogue.
  • You can always tell when they're interviewing a military person or a politician. The military person answers "Yes" or "No" and then explains why, while the politician spends 5 minutes talking without ever answering the question!

“Sailors join the navy to see the world.” my brother did not join to see the world but because he felt he had a duty Sir. Seeing the world was probably the last thing on my brothers mind! He is currently active & deployed.

  • “It’s not my hope it’s my duty”. No stronger words have been spoken. I admire his intensity and directness.
  • I like how admiral answers questions, briefly and spot on. Politicians need to learn from military
  • I love how the admiral wears a flight suit lol dude can’t help himself
  • I am from the NAVY. THERE IS NO WAY THIS NAVAL FORCE COULD LOSE. MY SON IS IN THE AF. THERE IS NOW WAY ARIC WILL BACK DOWN!!!!❤
  • The idea that we are moving closer to WW3 and nobody seems concerned is just flat out insane.
  • Respect to the admiral for holding his tongue when talking about submarines. Some cards shouldn’t be shown
  • @Altriza
Thanks America and the mighty armed forces.
  • Ok this makes me feel ALOT better knowing there is at least ONE man in a U.S. position of leadership that seems like they have a head on their damn shoulders.
  • My uncle was born in 58. He served on the Nimitz. Straight out of high school. That's been a while considering that he's 65 this year
  • I am amazed on quality meida that "60 minutes" making. Enourmous work and effort is pushed and baked to have fine story to watch. Thank you.
