Samsung HLR6768W DLP TV problem. Replaced the lamp and filter wheel with new ones, still did not work.
Anyone have any idea whats going on? When powering on it makes a whistling sound like an incoming missile, tries to turn on a few times then shuts off with the 3 blinking lights . Could it be the ballast?

    Did you ever find out what the problem was? I changed the lamp, color wheel, ballast, and power supply all with newer ones and there's no change in the sound and the lamp has never started.

    Was it the ballast or the power supply? Wich ever it is, thats the sound of a bad capacitor. Mine is doing the same thing right now
